Seasoned Oyster Crackers
Combine in a large mixing bowl:
1 packet ranch seasoning packet
1 packet Italian seasoning packet
½ tbsp garlic powder
½ cup oil
Gently coat 1 bag of oyster crackers in the mixture
Spread in one layer on baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees apprx 10-15 minutes or until crackers are dry, stirring once.

I just wanted to say thank you. You may never see this comment since this video is 2 yrs old. But your suggestion to add the cream of chicken soup to the Olive Garden Chicken recipe made such a difference for me. The flavor of the straight dressing was a little strong for my taste. The addition of the cream if chicken really helped to mellow out the flavor. I will definitely continue adding the soup when I make this.

Hello! I’m Brittany, a new viewer from Arkansas. My 4 year old son said those sliders look delicious, so I’m making those tomorrow! 😅 I’ve never added cream of chicken to the Italian chicken recipe, but I’m gonna have to try that! I never seem to have enough sauce with it so I usually add a little milk after but I’ll try the soup added to it. Also, my grandma used to make potato Patties so I’m going to have to do that soon too. I was just making my grocery order earlier and was thinking about adding stuff for a pizza night. I just wanted to say thank you. I was in a cooking rut. My whole kitchen is disarray due to home renovations. The thoght of reorganizing and cooking was so over whelming. But I watched one of your videos this morning, I cant even remember which one was first, then I began to binge watch all of your videos.....I have seen like 20 of them, no joke. I have never tried a tater cake?! My mother grew up in the country and was raised on tater samiches which was fried potatoes on granny’s homemade biscuits, so we love a tater just about any way you can imagine so I was surprised we’ve never tried a tater cake??!! On my potato cakes all I want is salt. When I lived in Morocco my favorite thing was to go to the little stands and get potato cakes with eggs and sauce tomatoes inside a flatbread and Moroccan bread isn't like pita bread really but it's not a flatbread either. I would Google Moroccan everyday bread if you want to see what they look like and it's made of barley flour which I love! The Men who run the little stands their wives cook the potato cakes for them and they bring them out with them. They have stacks and stacks of potato cakes and they will sell them all. :-)

in our home I take 2 flour tortilla shells usually a brand that is on the thicker side Mission works well. I only purchase mission since they are pricier than other brands only for this dish. put a little butter down in a fry pan then layer: 1 soft taco size tortilla then spread sweet baby rays BBQ sauce on top, next shredded cheese we use mexican blend but anything works I've even used Kraft singles before. Then on top of the cheese I put shredded chicken, more cheese a touch more bbq sauce and then use the other tortilla shell as a top. when the bottom side is brown and the cheese is melting I put a dab of butter on the top shell then flip the whole thing over to brown the other side just like you would a grilled cheese sandwich. This is my teenage son's favorite!! another meal I really like is to make up a batch of taco seasoned ground beef and open a can of refried beans. In a bowl combine diced onions, the cooked seasoned ground beef, refried beans, a couple handfuls of shredded cheese and some enchilada sauce. I mix that all together then roll the mixture into flour tortilla shells and make 'enchiladas" with my taco mixture. I cover the row just like you would actual enchiladas with more sauce and shredded cheese then bake to melt everything together.... YUMMMMMMM soooo stinking good Ok one last one use wonton wrappers and fill with taco seasoned ground beef and fry the wontons then use them as "chips" and make a taco salad or "nachos" with your meat filled wontons soooo goood!!!

Hi Mel. New subbie here. 😊 I love sliders and I make them all the time especially in summer. I agree with you I don't like cutting the top off those sweet Hawaiian buns either. That scares me but those sliders look yummy. I've done all kinds cheese pepperoni hot ham and cheese crack chicken sliders buffalo sliders bbq sliders etc. I've also made the olive garden chicken. I fond it was super tangy for my liking. Next time I make this I may add some cream cheese. And maybe so cheese. I didn't do that first time I made it. Still learning on the kitchen lol. Take care ❤

I find you can cut back on the amount of dressing and I also think adding the can of cream of chicken soup helps cut down on some of the tangy taste. I use instant ones all the time. Just make them up a couple hours ahead of time and let them sit in the refrigerator to get good and stiff. Let me know how they turn out 😊

Absolutely, bacon, cheese, green onions, or just taters. I've even thrown in a little leftover corn 😉😊 Just make your instant potatoes up plenty enough time to let them sit and get really cold in the fridge before you mix them up. Let me know how they turn out and what you think.

I had wondered if the slicing of the Hawaiian rolls you mentioned was going to make it into this week's video, I got a nice chuckle out of that when it did! I always enjoyed staycations with my mom whenever she'd take time off if I was out of school. I have some of that Aldi Italian dressing, I may have to try that creamy chicken pasta! Oh wow! Wish I had been at your house for staycation! Everything looked so yummy! My mouth is watering! Lol! I spent last week house sitting and taking care of my brother-in-law's dog, but I didn't have anything good to eat! I love potato cakes!! Nothing much better! I love to cook and cook much like you do, but it is just me and I seldom cook anything good for just me. I have been feeling so bad lately, that I just don't feel like cooking either. My great niece, (grown), is coming to stay with me for a couple of weeks and she wants me to make chili and biscuits & sausage gravy, while she is here. That sounds good to me too! I just love to hear you talk and watch you cook. I watch your videos more than once! Lol! You remind me so of my family in Middle Tennessee and my Mama that has been gone so long. Hi Mel.. I am still loving the accent! Thanks for your ideas, I’m definitely trying the stuffed shells. You commented on how these recipes were nothing mind blowing or earth shattering, but they honestly are for ME! This is my type of food and recipes that I enjoy. I will typically find someone on you tube and half way in I realize I don’t have the ingredients that they are using or I may have a difficult time searching for them. Your recipes are perfect for me and I assume for many others, because these are the things we like to cook and ingredients we enjoy. Thank you!!!!
