At 82 my weekly plans and goals have been thrown out the window. Lucky to get a plan for the next couple of days. Monday and Friday volunteer at a food give away so those are the only two days I have a set goal. Doesn't God tell us to live one day at a time. LOL

Oh Mel I just have to share a family secret of mine with you- My whole family thinks it’s hilarious how long I’ve been addicted to marshmallow fluff! I never knew there were other brands but thank you girlfriend! They wouldn’t recognize that in my cabinet! I don’t cook so finding this recipe, well I’m elated! I have a very helpful hint for grilling sandwiches... lightly spread an even amount of butter on the bread instead of in the pan... just spray a little cooking spray in the pan to keep it from sticking!! It helps the bread not get soggy...

I'm not criticizing at all....I fight the baked-on crud on pans too. Sprinkle "Bar Keeper's Friend", a powdered cleanser usually stocked next to Ajax or Comet cleanser in the grocery store, on your muffin pan, let it sit 5 minutes or so, wipe off with the scrubby side of a sponge, and rinse. Makes your pans look like new with very little effort. Love your videos! My favorite part (aside from the common sense recipes) is your accent!

One of my normal supper ideas: I line my sheet pans with tin foil then I take the great value thick cut bacon. If I am having company I roll it up the bacon & put a toothpick through it. Then I sprinkle it with brown sugar. If I'm not having company I lay it flat & sprinkle the bacon with brown sugar. Either way, I bake it at 450° until the bacon is done. To go with the bacon ,I go n one of two ways. Especially this time of year. Option 1 is stewed Cabbage with potatoes, tomatoes & macoroni, peas, & cornbread. Option two is butter potatoes, stewed squash & onions, green beans, & cornbread. Either way, it goes amazing with the bacon.

Regina I’m so sorry you and your husband are having to deal with that horrible disease. I moved my mom in with me when she told me one day she couldnt remember how to get home from the grocery store that was like 5 blocks from her house. I cared for her for 10 years before she passed away and it’s heartbreaking. I love her so much and I still have a hard time dealing with the fact she’s not with me any longer. Again I’m so sorry and I will add you and your family to my prayer list.

We use a jar of the marshmallow fluff at room temperature and equal cream cream cheese whipped together as a dip for strawberries. It is so good. I am sure that pie you made was delicious. Everything looked really good yum 😋

Just binge watching you friend! Another way to do your meatballs are to add 1 jar Heinz Chili Sauce & a large jar of plain ole grape jelly in the crockpot. Just be sure to bake your meatballs to get that crispy coating first! I’ve loved everything I’ve tried of yours & hope I can reciprocate the thoughtfulness. I love your BLT sandwich! I was thinking of doing a BLT with pumpkin blossoms. I will put them into an egg batter then fry them up. Slap that on toast with bacon, cheese and some sliced tomatoes. It's fun to make simple meals like that and doctor each one for the person who's eating it. I'm like you, the tortilla shells are my thing.

When my son was little he was known at our local breakfast spot as “the bacon boy” because he always ordered an additional side of bacon to go with his order that included bacon. 🤣 It seems like 90% of your vlogs have recipes that include bacon, so now in my mind you’re “the bacon girl”.. 🤣 😉🥰

Irregular bacon & de-luxe cheese slices. This is about more than I can handle 🫣 My James is a meat smoker too & we’ve made almost the same sandwich with leftovers. I like to caramelize onions to add to it too. Delicious looking food from start to finish! I’ll def try that pie!
