I found this recipe today and was pleasantly surprised for your effort. You should be given an award for coming up with a vegetarian option!! I am even more glad and proud being a vegetarian. Croissants made with whole wheat flour might have a denser texture compared to those made with all-purpose flour. Whole wheat flour contains more fiber and bran, which can affect the texture and flavour of the final product. Also it may affect the rise and flakiness of the croissants.

@@SattvikKitchen thank you. I started making them yesterday and kept it in teb refrigerator for around 16 hours. They taste pretty good but my technique of shaping still needs a lot of work! Also, while rolling the dough and making the croissant, I faced the challenge of the butter inside the dough rapidly melting.... Is there some way to help with this?

Great to know that you tried it and turned out good. 👌🏻😊 We recommend below point for your query: 1. Make sure room temperature is not too warm. 2. You may wear gloves while rolling as body temperature could be the reason to melt butter. 3. Sprinkle dry flour whenever required. 4. Try to roll immediately after refrigeration. 5. If you are living in hot weather temperature then you may follow one extra step to maintain dough shape and make rolling easy. Step : once 24 hours refrigeration process is done then keep dough in deep freezer for 2-3 mins. After that you can roll the dough easily. Hope this helps.

I followed ur recipe .croissants were gd in taste but these were not as puffed as ur . I think 24 hrs is a long period to keep it in the fridge .May be this is the reason behind it.
