The evidence never exists until its found and then it's disregarded for the next evidence that allegedly doesn't exist. That's the pattern of unbelief that wants to stay in unbelief.

It’s actually quite simple for the overwhelming majority of us. We don’t believe in the existence of the christian god because ‘he’ is infinitely more evil than Hitler. We need evidence that this maniacal god exists and none has ever been provided. Many of us, myself included, used to believe this god was real until we opened ourselves up to reality and statrted operating with our rational minds

Awesome seeing evidence of ancient Israelites being freed from Egyptian slavery during the time of Moses and The Exodus from Egypt. Speaking to Atheists, skeptics, agnostics and secular humanists is easy actually just listen to their reasoning for unbelief and skepticism. Just study history because The Gospels were known to people around the time of 90 A.D. when Bishops reference The Gospel of John and other Scriptures. I love Catholics but Catholicism isn't Christianity as it started about a thousand years after Christianity had already been spread throughout the ancient world SOOOO YEAH 👍. AMEN brother Frank Turek and Cross Examined ministry we love this Apologetics ministry it's awesome fellow brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord and God bless you ALL 🙏❤️👊. There's almost no critical thinking in most reasons for religious beliefs, blindly believing things without evidence, Atheism and unbelief I guess is just another word for unreasonable skepticism and cynicism 🤔. Atheism ain't got nothing new or better to offer than the very religious beliefs it's critical of so it's hypocrisy at it's finest 😂. Hello this is for all you Atheists, unbelievers and skeptics. I'm going to address a few misconceptions and lies about God's Character and His Word. The Bible doesn't support chattel slavery or anything else Immoral. Ok so Atheists and unbelievers say God is either Immoral, incompetent or not responsible so let's see what The Scriptures actually say. God revealed himself and created a nation in a real, historical context. It was a world with a slave-based economy, with city states often at war with each other, with polygamous marriages to ensure the continuation of family lines. The laws of the Old Testament regulate this behaviour. Slaves are to be treated humanely (Exodus 21:11). They are given rights and not seen as mere possessions. Hebrew slaves were able to buy their own freedom. Human trafficking is condemned (Exodus 21:16). In contrast to the law code of Babylon, Old Testament Israel was a light to the nations. The Old Testament law and narratives do not stand alone. Jesus is now the best example of what we read. So the moral teaching of the Bible cannot be summarised by a quote taken out of context from the Old Testament to demonize God and His Word. Slavery was permitted in Old Testament law but it was regulated by God giving the Israelites instructions on how to fairly and humanely treat their slaves (it was like indentured servitude where someone could work for you if they owed debts or needed income not cruel like chattel slavery). God allowed the people of Israel to own slaves since they themselves has already experienced over 400 years of generations of Egyptian slavery and knew how inhumane it was to be beaten, overworked and taxed so God set them apart from other nations and cultures around them by giving them a fair way to treat their slaves since slavery had already existed in the world but it doesn't mean God condoned it just used it for His Will to bring Good And in the light of the whole scriptural teaching, we find the reasons for its ultimate abolition (Ephesians 6:9; Colossians 4:1-3; Philemon 15-16 and Galatians 3:28). The Word of God provided the moral standard against slavery in the Roman Empire and against the slave trade in the New World. But what of genocide or holy war in the book of Joshua? Several things could be pointed out. The use of warfare in the ancient world did not always mean literal total destruction, even when events are described in such terms. Furthermore, the book of Joshua does not describe a genocide. It is not a race who are being wiped out, as in genocide, but a religious practice which was often appalling and degrading. Those who repent (like Rahab from Jericho or Ruth) are not destroyed but become part of Israel. It is not the racial group that is in view but their "detestable practices". However, after all is said, we must still acknowledge that God brought judgment on the nations of Canaan. It is not our place as believers isn't to sugar-coat the Bible. For some skeptics, this is enough to make God a moral monster. But the fact is that Jesus continued to affirm that God is a Judge who will bring a future judgment on all peoples and all nations. God’s judgment will be just. The list of Old Testament stories rejected by critics often leads to a similar dismissal of the New Testament teaching of Jesus on the existence of hell. After all, what was the Flood of Genesis or the conquest of Joshua if not a glimpse of future judgment? Hell does not demonstrate cruelty on God’s part, but it does demonstrate His Holiness and our moral accountability. Perhaps this is the real reason many people rail against the God of the Bible? It is not that they think He is a moral monster, but that they are afraid He is a moral Judge, and that has implications for our behaviour now. God is an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being and we as His creatures have Eternal souls and spirits so the punishment for our sins against Him must therefore also be Eternal but so must the reward for righteousness that's why He sent His Son Jesus to live a perfectly righteous and sinless Life (which none of us could ever possibly expect to do) suffer the humiliating and torturous death of crucifixion to shed His Own Blood willingly so that all who willingly accept His gift of salvation by grace through faith in Him will be saved and given Eternal life because that's what God wants is for us to willingly accept His gift of salvation and choose life. Exodus 21:20-21 literally speaks about capital punishment befalling anyone who mistreats their slaves so yes people are taking Scripture out of context to demonize God who literally promises that slaves who are mistreated under someone else's authority is to be avenged. When we hear the word “slavery” we think of innocent human beings, kept prisoner for life, having no rights under law and so reduced to animals. This is clearly immoral because it is unjust: the slave has done nothing to deserve the treatment. The situation described as “slavery” in the Bible was nothing like this. It is more accurately described as one of indentured servitude. Many “slaves” were indentured servants, working for a term of years Some other “slaves” were prisoners. There were no prisons. Prisoners had to work to live like everyone else. Some had life sentences. Some served a term and were released. People didn't beat their good slaves but treated them well and protected their assets thus. But no matter how rebellious a slave was, you couldn't just beat them to death. And if you knocked out their tooth or damaged their eye then you had to set them free. (Exodus 21:26). God wasn't using what other nations did because He wanted to set His Chosen People of Israel apart from the cruel, inhumane and unjust systems other cultures had so He gave them a fair way to treat their slaves and servants. There is a lot of ignorance on this topic which is understandable given the age we live in but it's not the nefarious set up we think of when we think of modern slavery. The question Atheists must ask themselves is how come the Jews aren't being accused of slavery and human trafficking if they're guilty of it in The Bible and why would white slave owners rip out pages from The Old and New Testament Scriptures to justify their owning blacks as slaves if The Bible already justified slavery?

A world that fell because God both caused, and wanted it to fall? Nobody deserves that. Not even Hitler deserves that. Can you even begin to appreciate how unbearably horrific that would be? How _insane_ a person would go? Knowing for a fact that there is no hope of escape or release from their pain and suffering? That they can't even kill themselves because they're already dead? That even after a trillion, trillion, trillion millennia, they are not even one micron closer to escape or release?

There just one flaw. According to Bible it was 600,000 isrialites but this didn't account for women and children. So it was more like 2.4 million isrialites. Now what you to think about how that would effect a nation that is heavily dependent on slaves. If 2.4 million slave just packed up and went were out here it would be a devastating blow to a nation's economy. There entire economy would rapidly collapse. That is were the flaw in the argument comes in. We see no historical evidence of a rapid collapse in the Egyptian economy. In fact its the exact opposite. For most part thr Egyptian economy flourished during the time when the exodus was suppose to have happen.

@@michaelrunk5930 I’m in agreement with you that the numbers are not possible based on population counts of the day & various other reasons, and are therefore not “accurate” in terms of actual numbers. There’s been some great articles from scholars (one who did a dissertation on the large numbers) that speak to this issue. Essentially, the scholars point out that the numbers shouldn’t be taken literally, rather they are hyperbolic and reflect the literary style of how cultures in the ancient near East chronicled conquest literature (among other reasons) For us to interpret these numbers through our current understanding of how historical literature is presented/written & conclude the events recorded as historically false due to exaggeration or impossibly high numbers is accusing the biblical text of not conforming to modern standards - which should be avoided. The biblical text should be interpreted through the literary context of the ANE in which it was written. Here’s a quote from Dr Michael Heiser who summarized multiple scholars on his podcast regarding this issue: “They [original biblical audience/writers] knew exactly what was going on with these inflated numbers. It was a familiar way of history-writing for them. They would not have felt deceived, since the point wasn’t mathematical accuracy but ultimately glorification of the king or the military leader or the deity behind those guys.”

To be honest? We don't know. The ancient hebraic and Christian worlds were neither Monotheist, nor pantheist in nature. It was Monolotrist in Nature. The exclusive worshop and adherence to one supreme being, without denying the existence of other supernatural beings. The (main) difference between the Hebrews and early Christians, is that they believed that only belief and following the Covenants and Ordinances, in the order their God revealed, allowed them to be forgiven of their sins, and allowed them to return to him, which was a much different perspective from the non Hebraic and Christian world view. Our modern concepts of "Monotheism" and "Pantheism" come from the later 3rd and 4th century in the common era

Isaiah 4 says the column of smoke and pillar of fire will be created after a fiery judgment. What does that say about the body of Moses? It sounds like an argument between Michael and Satan. A theory of everything. I assume Jesus was wiser than Daniel, Ez 28, and started his work of the salvation of those behind the gates of Hell as the first Adam. The disciples offered Jesus two swords to be counted as the Lawless One but, he has the fiery sword guarding the way to the Tree of Life. "Light" and "Vegetation" were created before the Sun and Moon. You can't skip over that part. Darkness covers the Abyss or, Hell. The people are empty, void of understanding, because they are corrupted by sin. Jesus comes to break down the gates of Hell and free the people. The Lord found them this way, in a wasteland, a barren desert, and he shielded them as the apple of his eye, with his spirit hovering over their kingdom, the Abyss. Adam started them out on their way to salvation in this barren landscape. Adam's sin is prophetic of when he wields the fiery sword guarding the way to the Tree of Life on the day of vengeance AS judgment, setting up the abomination of desolation in him, the temple without one stone left standing upon another. Christ was born of the need for a savior. David has an everlasting covenant with the Lord working for all his salvation and every desire. He is the Cornerstone of his work of salvation. David is your king who will be raised up for you. David is his Father. The glory of God gave it light and Jesus is the Lamp. The Sun and Moon appear to be David and his Bride. The light of the Moon will be like that of the Sun and the light of the Sun will be as great as seven days, on the day of the great slaughter, when the Lord binds up the wounds left from his (day of judgment) Isaiah 30:26. Jesus sacrifice justifies David when he speaks and vindicates him when he condemns.

Yet people "believe" they existed because it's written down in historical records or sometimes passed down orally through generations and no one disputes it. Not even western historians. Same goes with many other cultures and indigenous tribes even. But when it comes to the Bible, sadly it being a historical record in of itself is not enough cos I guess people had nothing better to do than just come up with a continuous fantastical tale that was written across the span of a millennium or so 🥴 not even a tv series that's a sure Cash cow is continued in that manner and with such consistency in it's story nowadays 😅

If other religions are capable of it, why not him? If he even existed that is. Sure, the absence of evidence isn’t evidence of absence, but believing something bc their isn’t direct evidence to the contrary is dumb. There’s no record of it from the time in Egypt. I’d think mass plague, the death of every firstborn, and hundreds of thousands of people escaping slavery, would have tons of mentions across the country. Hell, regular plagues were well-documented across the empire.

I have corrected you on this a number of times in the past, and I am disappointed that you seem to persist in your error. In general, when we see later writings that are similar to earlier writings, it is not considered irrational to hypothesize that the later writings could have been based on the earlier writings. In fact, this is part of the argument Dr. Turek and his son try to make about how modern Hollywood stories relate to the Jesus narrative. So we know that this general argument cannot be considered invalid. Given that the earliest versions of the Exodus story date to 600 BCE, and that the Ipuwer papyrus itself dates to around 1200 BCE, it is quite possible that the authors of the Exodus story knew about the stories related in the Ipuwer papyrus, and that they used elements from these stories in the construction of their own narrative. This would explain everything in a very simple and plausible manner, without needing to make assumptions that are not supported by the currently known evidence, and without having to assume supernatural intervention. You said: _"Hilarious! See how these NONTHINKERS twist everything?"_ I agree, although I think your characterization of Dr. Turek as a "NONTHINKER" is a bit harsh. No, multiverse believers don't have to disprove every other belief to prove the multiverse, they only have to prove the multiverse. Do you have to disprove every other religion to prove that your beliefs are true? No you simply only have to prove what you believe is true. I would leverage the Jesus Christ brand to make a living. That's right - I became a Christian Apologist Now I sell the Christ story for a living - and I do mean sell, I push it hard. Always saying positive things about being a Christian.... how true it is that a man rose from the dead.... and all the other crazy stuff in the Bible. I also focus on topics of interest to a lot of my followers: Hell, LGBTQI, CRT, Abortion, women as property, and the dangers of Progressive Christianity If I had to characterize my typical follower: they are low in IQ, low in self-esteem, generally low achievers, introverted, racist, homophobic, mysogynistic and have an incel tendency Do I try to convert non-believers? Of course not, they'd soon find out my real motives. It's all about reinforcing the message to people who already believe. Continually reinforcing that the Bible is true. I lie through my teeth if I have to.....and make a fast buck in the process. I have all the setup; KZbin, Patreon, Tiktok, Paypal and all the others Do I even believe the Christ story? Nah, it's primitive nonsense. But who'd have thought it would be so easy to fleece gullible schmucks for every dime they had

You realize we have a restored image by the cloth used to wipe his face? We can see the face of Jesus. We can also see his grave still empty.... So anyone asking for proof, evidence..... They already have it... Not to mention the FACT that youtube is full of videos of people getting healed miraculously in the name of Jesus.... All of creation screams to the glory of Jesus... And you want something more authentic than that? 😮

We don't even know where his remains were buried. As far as a "healing" or a changed life - that's great, but anyone of any belief system can claim that. So yeah. I need more than that. Otherwise, you could be Satan trying to deceive me for all I know.

I get where you're coming from. If I believed something that has absolutely nothing supporting it and then I found out that experts on that thing all said that it's not what I believe well, it would be way easier to just say you can't believe experts than to contend with me just being wr0ng.

@@morgansouthworth2894 That is untrue. Turek: " How could he have made it all up without KNOWING who the egyptian gods were" This sentence makes zero sense if Moses actually did know who the gods of egypt were... Unless you think Frank is admiting that Moses did make it all up.

Stop trying to sell Jesus like a used car. If you can talk someone into believing someone else can talk to him out of believing most of your preaching should be done with actions, and then the elect will notice and come to you.

Egypt was the most powerful nation of the ancient world for a very long time, it's like asking,... *How is it possible for any American to know so much about the British Royal Family?* The answer, _that American must be a member of the Royal Family, it is the only way for an American to know so much about the Royal family_

But how could someone in the land of Israel know so much about a certain culture without living there, 3300 years ago? What were the possible means? Imagine the state of affairs 3300 years ago, with no printing machine. We are living in the era of information overload now. But in those days, even a hardcopy of information was rare. It's definitely not impossible but it is really something to ponder upon. It may not prove it but it gives reasons to believe that Jews lived in Egypt once upon a time.

@@sumanthpaul7724 _"But how could someone in the land of Israel know so much about a certain culture without living there, 3300 years ago? What were the possible means?"_ 1. Have you ever looked at a Map? Egypt and Israel are next to each other 2. Greeks were already in Egypt 3300 years ago, and much of Greek culture, math, and architecture comes from Egypt 3. *NO ONE is saying that Jews never lived in Egypt* People from all over came to Egypt, in the same way, people come from all over come to live in the U.S. or go to Europe. Egypt was not an isolated country. 4. *A Funny thing in world history* is that if you have a wealthy country, immigration from poorer and less developed countries will happen, it happened in Ancient Egypt when Egypt was a great civilization, and it happened when Greece was a great civilization, and again it happened to Rome when they were a great civilization, etc, etc, every great civilization. 5. *The problem* that needs to be answered is not that the Egyptians might have lie, hidden, and/or destroyed any evidence of the exodus but, that every other civilization nation, merchant, and citizen from another country, that lived and knew of Egypt at the time also for some _Really Weird Reason_ failed to mention in their writings, _Hey! Has the Sun gone Dark for 3 days? And what is it with all these frogs and locus?_ Isn't that funny?
