@@RobFarrowATV Exploring season is starting up again as the leaves start to fall. Lots planned. I do have a question for you if you don't mind. What type of helmet and GoPro mount do you use? My preference is to bike the railway grades, but I'm currently working on the GTP/Graham Sub and past Raith I'm going to have to use an ATV. There are so few access roads that the distance between them is 17-25 miles. Too far to bike! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a chin mount for my adventure full face helmet (basically a motocross helmet with a shield) and I use a Hero 11 with the multi-media and external mic that is wired to my helmet. It plugs into the multi-media port. I have to get back on the atv and start exploring soon, haven't been on it since this ride. I think winter might be not too far away unfortunately. Still would like to do another scuba dive on the Donaldson shipwreck that we found but time is running out.

When I was Young And Dumb I used to ride my Honda Xr250 on the Railroad Tracks. Had to stay above 40mph to smooth out the ride and keep from dropping between the ties.

Hey Rob, not sure if this is common knowledge but your drone didn't work cause you were within the 10km radius of the Nipigon Bridge. The D.oD Federalies have a net that disables drones within that range (or more now) so that you cannot fly anywhere near it.

They have been talking about it for years since the rail line was shutdown in 2005. CN still owns the right of way as there is a very important fibre optic cable buried alongside the grade. Because of that, the rail trail negotiations haven't amounted to much.
