I would really like to see you review the new Crossrope “ropeless” ropes they just released. I’m not a fan of ropeless systems but this winter I might consider using them indoors if the weather is awful. Thanks!
@Jump15official2 жыл бұрын
I'm not a fan either. They remove most of the benefits of jump rope. I mean....it's not jump rope, it's something completely different. I understand the proposed benefit for some people (space, apartments and creating noise), but I would find a different exercise before I went ropeless. That being said....don't knock it till you try it. I would be willing to review. Plus, not gonna lie, I was shocked at the price of them.

I like how they covered up the top metal piece. I tend to hold/choke up the handles when using their weighted ropes. Awesome review!
@Jump15official2 жыл бұрын
So do I. I also like how the bearings are a lot more sealed to reduce the amount of small debris being able to enter the area. Glad you found it helpful 🤜🤙

Thanks for the review. Subscribed!!!! I have the two old sets and 3 more ropes 2,6 % 9 oz speed ropes. I use all 7 ropes each workout doing pyramids for time. I may get another set of the lighter handles so I can have less time switching up. Also there are other people (videos) that saying the new handles removed the clicking noise. I must say I've never noticed that.
@Jump15official2 жыл бұрын
The last design had solved the clicking issue so I'm not sure what people are referring to there. The clip change is definitely noticeable for me. I would frequently have trouble switching ropes quickly and the bigger tabs on the clip make it easier to open and remove/insert the rope attachment.👍👍👍

Can u put the 1 and 2 lb rope on the new slim handles ?

Yes you can, but it typically puts more stress on the wrists.

👍 Personally I'm not a fan of ropeless jump ropes because they eliminate so many of the benefits and it would seem boring to me. However, they probably have their place for people who don't have space to swing a rope. There's nothing like the real thing😁

Great advice, Kyle. I have the old set and was thinking about upgrading. If you jump five or six times a week, why not? Thanks for your review, man. Always appreciate it. 💪💪🤙

Hello How long do the handles last ? For life or a few years ?
@Jump15official Жыл бұрын
My have handles from previous versions that are 5-8 years old and still work great. They are made even better now, so if you take care of them they should last a very long time. They do have a limited lifetime warranty, so if something breaks that shouldn't have you contact Crossrope and they are amazing at backing up their products.🤙

@Jump15official2 жыл бұрын
@@theoutsiderjess1869 I'm following now. If you would rather jump rope then grab the get strong set. Two reasons: 1. You won't have to wait for shipment since the ropeless is pre order and 2. If they are too much for you, you will have 60 days to return for a full refund and can then get on the list for the ropeless.

The change I would have preferred, is the ability to cut the ropes to my size. I have some knock-off products, so I know this is possible. I did the mistake to follow CR´s size-guidelines, and they are off! It did take me more than 60 days to realise. For the price, I don´t want knots in my rope, so…I gave them away.
@Jump15official2 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you didn't figure out they were too long until after 60 days. Were they your first jump rope purchase? The guide definitely errs on the long side (all jump rope companies do) because 1. Beginners form and technique usually aren't good requiring a longer rope. If you give them a properly sized rope they quit in frustration saying it's too short. 2. A long rope is still usable, a rope that is too short is not. That is why they offer the 60 day guarantee for return or size changes. I understand the adjustability argument and that would be great, but Crossrope handles are built to withstand the pressure of much heavier ropes than the knock offs which max out at maybe a 1 lb rope vs Crossrope that can handle up to 5 lb ropes. By making the rope adjustable it compromises the hold strength. The last thing you want is to be whipping a 1/2 lb to 2 lb rope and have one side come loose. Think how bad that could injure someone at the gym or damage your car if you're jumping in the driveway. Crossrope took all that into consideration when they came up with the design....the ali baba chinese knockoffs did not. If they are working for you that's great! Just remember to check how solid the hold is each jump rope session.👍
@mentaliusDK2 жыл бұрын
@@Jump15official I get that, my favourite rope is the 1/4 pound, and that could easily have two screws to loosen and cut. Not only the Ali Baba, but also a certain British dude, have that option.
@Jump15official2 жыл бұрын
@@mentaliusDK sure that's not as risky. I've looked at his set and guarantee that they are the same as the ali baba except he redesigned the handles.
@waltroz66052 жыл бұрын
If you hold your arms like the British guy, you will shorten the rope w/out knots. I do this with my longer ropes as I’ve progressed to a shorter length w/out purchasing new ropes. Also, cutting your rope will decrease the weight of the ropes as well.
