While this may be true in my 21 years living in Manchester and while I try to avoid going into the City Centre after dark, it’s way better than Dublin, even in daytime - I’ve watched Dublin’s gradual decline in my years of coming home to visit my family in Rural Ireland - and even though I loved Dublin in my youth, Dublin has now become a horrible place, as I saw for myself on my last visit home in October 2022 - I avoid Dublin City Centre even more than I do Manchester City Centre, where I feel much safer in Manchester than I do in Dublin, as the GMP here are way better than the Gardai (An Garda Siochana - Irish police) back home

They climb over anything and everything, have no manners and drop litter everywhere despite there being litter bins everywhere ...and vandalism that I that I repair on a daily basis is off the scale, it's criminal damage actually, meanwhile the parents don't give a shit but are quick to be surly and abusive to staff when they can't get their own way. What have they got for the majority of the British people? Nothing is the answer. They now want to move illegals out of the country if they lose asylum. The same as the Tories, but labour protested against the Tories doing that. Amazing how they use the plans they fought against. It's inevitable that he pounces on some helpless young person soon, if he hasn't already. Then he'll be warehoused for several years at your expense. Rinse & repeat until someone with a heart puts him to sleep.

They have every right to be in the city centre, but has anyone ever explained to them that we pity them? Do they feel no shame and if not, why not? They have probably made too many bad decisions in their life and are now paying the price. They are a good example of what society will tolerate, but I think they are close to the edge of what society will not tolerate.
