For everyone complaining about racking or shooting delays in pool videos remember that if you're watching this on a computer you can press J to skip 10 seconds back and L to skip 10 seconds forward. K pauses. After clicking on the video twice to pause and then resume you activate the arrow keys for 5 second skips. If viewing on a mobile device you can double tap the left and right side of the screen to skip forward and backwards 10 seconds. Get used to doing this and you can be much more efficient with your time and consume a lot more content.

He actually missed the 8 ball while sitting on the hill 6-3 against Melling and Melling had and unbelievable comeback.

I don't care how many times you gotta point to beat the best player on Earth. I've played Justin a few times, and when he is shooting a casual or low-stakes match, he plays extremely fast. But Yo, he is playing SVB
@trple22 жыл бұрын
It's more about the stakes he's playing at. Watch Kevin Chen vs Aranas. Plays the same way.
@trple22 жыл бұрын
These announcers are both cruel and uninformed. Taking your time with a pre-shot routine is highly intelligent. Bergman's thinking through his position, visualizing, and making sure he's loose. The focus should have been on how well he's playing. What fine position and accuracy. There should be a shot clock. But if there isn't this is a perfectly good way of playing. Most players could learn a lot from watching Justin here.
@arpeemac7 жыл бұрын
LOL, why is everyone yapping about the things Justin does before taking the shot? it's his pre-shot routine. it keeps a player's rhythm going. there's an OCD-like thing going on with some players, and they need to make sure that things have to be done before taking a shot. that's just how it is. if you're a pool fan, you should know that there are a lot of players who does way more annoying things. :)
@Nooch-xc6xs7 жыл бұрын
I see what you are saying with that completely. The only thing with Justin is he played better without doing that so often. Even the announcers made note of that. I would have to agree, it seems more for drama. Especially since most of the shots he made, the outcome never happened as his pointing showed it should.

Nooch you're an idiot. Everyone has good and bad days. The fact that he had a bad day doesn't automatically mean it had anything to do with taking his time and looking at all of his available shots to see what lines up better with getting position on the shot after his next ball. You donks are worse than these shitty commentators.

because it's annoying. He checks EVERY angle EVERY time and it takes him forever to make up his mind. He only thinks 2 balls ahead and it's not fun at all to watch. It's like watching an amateur that makes most of his shots.

arpeemac no joke Half the times he's just looking at the line a d not necessarily the leave. I do it on maybe half my shots. @axlrollz4 жыл бұрын
This is why I like Jeremy Jones. A lot of pool players like to think their way is best. I find a large portion of billiard commentary online to be un-listenable. It's like, some players need to point to help them with position and speed control. Bergman is one of my favorite players. He has more of an improvisational style.

Walking around the table, stepping away from the table, visualizing the shot on your next ball to get position on the ball after. It's called respecting the game. Giving it your best shot, your best effort, all you have. Maybe he wasn't in dead stroke in this match and was fighting against not seeing the table that well. We all have days like those, I can tell you one thing though...he wasn't missing balls because of lack of effort or not taking his time. He respects the game and he respects every shot he's dealt with. I bet if you did that and complained less about others doing it you wouldn't be the one sucking and he'd be in your spot.

@Nooch-xc6xs7 жыл бұрын
o8 shooter 9o I would completly disagree. I have been playing pool for nearly two decades. Watching a man dance around the pool table like he has no idea what he is doing is substantially boring. These are professional players who know what works and what doesnt. If he genuinely knew what he was doing the only other possible answer was he was adding "drama" to the game. Men like Shane don't need this pointless waste of time and I would rather watch people make quality shots than waste time pretending. I understand feeling shots out, but even you have to admit...doing that on every damn shot makes no sense. The plan for the game is set just a few shots in
@o8shooter9o587 жыл бұрын

1:08:20 It’s the 7 ball not 6. He missed it cause he loaded up with outside English to hold for the 8 but aimed it like he was shooting center ball. So it threw, but also it threw so much cause slow speed exaggerated the effect. He had to hit it much fuller with that much outside or hit it just like that with no outside. Unbelievable that Shane didn’t realize that- any 550 Fargo and up knows that, 650+ for sure. But also unreal that commentators didn’t notice that.
