@@HajimeJojo INFJs are also Finisher types instead of Starter types so they can impatiently get caught up in the outcome/finish-line, so they have to remember that the ultimate finish-line for them is the level of enjoyment they have in a chosen process/progression as they go, releasing themselves from the pressure of where it will end up, and in so doing, optimizing where it ends up. I could have written this a bit better but hopefully you get what I mean.

INFJ here, and can't relate to it at all. I never run from problems, I need to think about solutions, need alone time to do it, but not run. But maybe that is the way I was raised. And never felt envy of other people. At all. If I fail I'm doing all that I can to fix stuff too. When I was younger, I was jealous in my relationships, it was because of my low self-esteem, now I know that, never felt like I am enough. It got better over time, but it was hard work to leave the "I am not enough" behind, still in process I guess

You're exactly right. I'm INFJ (overconfirmed) and I don't run from problems and expect the same from my relations, in fact I hunt them down if they even attempt to avoid or weasel out of the issue or spinelessly shirk away or deflect...I have no respect for it and uphold this standards for myself & with my close relations. I'm too ride or die at times for this spineless running away stuff esp in context of relationships. And I also don't envy other people, quite the opposite more often I genuinely feel happy for them and honestly wish more of it in the world (unless I dislike the person, but I still don't envy them). Same with the "I'm not enough" unrealistic high standards for myself. I'm still in the process as well.

So many baseless assumptions in this blurt, its sad! Baseless assumption number 1: INFJs have highest number of sex partners. (Not really. INFJ choose their partners very carefully and thoughtfully.) Baseless assumption number 2: INFJ's life is constantly affected by jealousy. (Not really. They honestly want to build trust. They constantly support the win-win situation for everyone) Baseless assumption number 3: INFJ wants to "own" their partner. (Not really. Actually they want to inspire others, especially their partner, and be inspired by them) Baseless assumption number 4: INFJs are trying to run away from failure (Not really. Success or failure is not the main focus of INFJ psyche, instead they are looking for "meaning" in life) Baseless assumption number 5: INFJs feel they have failed others so they end up withdrawing entirely and this is a form of shirking responsibility (Not really. INFJs feel highly responsible, if anything a bit too much. They withdraw or door slam ONLY after they have tried their best to make the situation work and yet its turning out to be a dead-end) Baseless assumption number 6: INFJ should take responsibility of others/situations to show character. (Not really. If anything INFJ should learn to care about themselves more, for a change. Integrity is the indicator of character not taking of responsibility) Baseless assumption number 7: INFJs are people pleasers. (Not really. They genuinely want greater good for greatest number of people. They genuinely care!) I wish the quality of this content was not going down so much, I used to like this channel. Time to run away lol!!!

@@CSJoseph I'll let you in on a little secret about INFJs: the ones seemingly agreeing with you here are most likely going through an INFJ phase that I'm familiar with (either that or they're mistyped). And this is the phase where they are starved & desperate for info about their type and desperate to belong to a group and identity after going so long feeling misunderstood and alien out of place all their lives. Like a desperate starving or thirsty man, they initially desperately drink up anything that resembles water even if it's a mirage, in other words anything that seems to make them fit into a group they're beginning to identify with, even if they have to semi-consciously twist or convince themselves to fit that mold. And they are very prone to this when there's a grain of truth misxed with falsehoods: Fi critic will amplify any of their perceived flaws especially when spoken by perceived authority on this sort of info (i.e: C.S. Joseph: "INFJs have highest body count..." INFJs at a mere suggestion of possible flaw: "oh I have rich sexual fantasies, omg I must be a nymphomaniac!" they make this leap) since they're desperate to figure themselves out with so little useful info out there.There's no way Globe Lights is mistyped...too much accurate insider INFJ specific info. What Globe Lights said here was really on the mark and so many other INFJs on other websites and comment section strongly agree with these very insider INFJ specific traits/points. Hope this info helps hone your accuracy better in the future.

@@CSJoseph Yet I also see as many disagreeing with you on comments section. Truth is not a popularity contest, discernment is needed here. There's a grain of truth here and there and mixed with a bunch of innacuracies/false claims/misperceptions and grossly exaggerated, which INFJs in that phase desperate for morsels of truth gobble up whole along with the big lies and run with it. Their Fi critic doesn't help, constantly looking for proof of how 'bad' they are (despite lack of evidence "Te blind"), overblowing small perceived faults to exaggerated extent like you are irresponsibly spreading here (INFJ info quality has gone down lately, used to be better). See my explanation above.

I Identify as an INFJ and I can see what you're talking about. Recently, I've been trying to figure out why I just simply don't care about having a romantic relationship anymore. It's not to say I don't see the value in having a partner, but honestly, truly, I do NOT want to be in the ditch. Not with someone who can't even see that that's where they are. But I'm a psych nurse. I'm literally in the shit with patients all day, every day. The ironic thing is, that's where I shine. I mean, I can be kind, caring and compassionate to a spectrum of people. But the last thing I want is a partner who doesn't even listen to what I'm saying. Or has such a bias against Therapy or self improvement or self discipline. If the goal is for me to laugh with you in the mud, then I better see you at least reaching for the sky.

So true 😭 I've been very socially isolated most of my life and I recently joined an online common interest group where everyone loves abstract topics. Eventually someone in the group had an issue with my conduct (ti-child offending and alienating people) and corrected me privately. I was grateful that this person called me out but felt so bad about what I'd done that I didn't want to go back. INTP husband advised me to go back and I'm still there but it's difficult to fight the temptation to disappear/run! I'm making myself stay because I know moving place to place and disappearing is a narcissistic trait and I'm trying to kill it. Thanks CSJ for elucidating these dynamics!

Definitely going through this with an INFJ coworker that I was close friends with. I told her I needed some space because my feelings for her were taking over my life. I tried to come back a few weeks later when I readjusted, but she's completely avoided looking and talking to me for a month and acts like a timid mouse around me. Apologizing and letting her know I was always gonna be there if she needed me didn't help. I can only guess that she feels like she broke me and decided to abandon me altogether

Yes, for me too if I feel that my presence bothered others, I will remove myself completely. It is good if infj is a bit thick skin though but I don't think so. We take things personally even though we are not angry, we still hesitate and back and forth. We are having difficulty initiating contact in the first place so when the other is distant or kind of bothered by us, we feel like don't come to them and don't bother them again and step back forever. It is awkward and doesn't know how to start the friendship again.

Disagree with the running away from problems as INFJ esp in context of relationships, I take ownership and accountability too seriously and rigorously expect it from my relations no exceptions. That sounds more like a spineless cowardly Ne-Si axis BS thing ime. As an INFJ I have no respect for those who do as a habit, it's disgusting me. If anything I'm too ride and die at times...something I'm working to change esp for those who don't deserve my devotion. Also I don't have high body count...quite the opposite in fact despite plenty of opportunities. I'm too selective & reclusive and have standards than to give myself to anyone let alone a number of ppl. Are you talking about those on Se grip? if so wouldn't that include INTJs? I feel INTJs would get sluttier on their grip than INFJs due to their vain lustful ESFP subconscious. When I'm on my Se grip as an INFJ I get aggressive as my bar-fighting ESTP side comes out and become more daredevil risk-thrill seeking (taking unnecesary risks for "fun", flirting with danger, high risk sports, etc.), esp agressive if I'm mad as well (have punched holes in walls before).

Oh my gosh you have no idea how much I needed this. I actually messed up and did this very thing last Tuesday. It was so embarrassing, I didn't realize I was a jealous women. Ive never ever been this jealous like this before. I acted out and left to the bathroom trying to calm myself down. He was more upset that I didn't just go up to him and ask him and he had to pull it out of me because he could read me really well and see i was bothered. I even said "I feel like your playing with me". I'm so ashamed. I knew that part got to him cause he repeated the word "play" a couple minutes later. Thank God I asked him if it upset him that it got to me and he said a little bit and I apologized before he left. His response was nothing like I've ever seen, he told me that this doesn't affect him and that I didn't need to apologize. I still want to though, so embarrassing. I feel immature, and yet I'm still struggling to stop the feeling. I still haven't had a new experience with him since and I'm waiting for us to hang out again and it's killing me. I'm an anxious wreck. I've been doing everything I need to do to de-stress when I'm this anxious. 😩 🤦‍♀️ Its nice to know I won't be left after my first mess up but I really miss him. I've been feeling extremely lonely this whole week. My coworkers and everyone around me prefer me a different way that's not me. He's the only one that demands I be straightforward with him and he is straightforward with everyone even in times that he becomes hated. He's the only one that makes me feel like I'm not lonely. That's Fi critic speaking, you're not as bad as you think, and yes most INFJs have gone through this line of thought before (more than once), you're not alone (hugs). And there's nothing seriously wrong with you, despite what Fi critic wants you to think. So no more excessive self-recrimination, you're only human and at least you owned your part after all. Now stop beating yourself up, you don't deserve that, nobody does. As an INFJ it helps me to think if I would be this harsh with others as with myself, if answer is no then that's very revealing. Hey sir, it's not related to the video, but I just wanted to say thanks for your lectures, they changed my life. I'm an intj 26/m, and in my life I've not been leaving my house much to socialise and say yes, but I listened to some of your videos about intj abandonment and how we need to leave the house and surround ourselves with people (te-ti).. So I started stepping out of my comfort zone, and met a pretty cool entp friend recently, among other people, and started building connections and being less of a loner. It's still hard to actually live life and not just to think about life, but I started being more open and trying to let go of my possessivity and abandonment challenges, and to grow. Your lectures and also your character have been a huge help for me to grow, I can't be grateful enough.

I hope you know that you have brilliant content. You've expanded Jung's system of typology and have incorporated the functional aspects of other systems, to make a logically cohesive 4 sided system of the human psyche. It's hard to appreciate because it takes time to fully grasp what you did, but well done. Only a logical Ne user could construct a metaphysical system like it; indeed ENTP's are underrated, and go unnoticed at our own peril. That is my opinion.

I may assume that these INFJs are somewhat pretty much 'unhealthy'? And you tend to emphasize their weaknesses as such which is a very good way to show how to grow out of them. If it's not so, then I start questioning if I'm mistyped, or just somewhat in the minority of INFJs. Since I've been a teenager, I don't remember if I ever felt any jealousy towards my boyfriends/life partner. My first long term relationship (I'd say, first boyfriend) guy was cheating on me but he always came back to me with sharing his feeling and I'd listen to him and accept him, I didn't run away but instead I wanted to understand why he is cheating. If I felt jealous and felt like owning someone I wouldn't be capable of doing such things? And yes, I had real feelings for the guy (I only forgot the guy after I emigrated from my country), it wasn't just because I was conducting a psychological experiment as some people may think that is what INFJs do in their free time, hahaha. As for owning, I can't identify with that, too. This concept disgusts me. I hate the idea of traditional labeling 'girls friend', 'boyfriend', 'wife', husband', etc., but then it doesn't meant I prefer relationships without commitments. I hate to interfere with anyone's freedom and for myself, I don't like to be interfered, either. I hate when men exhibit the traits of owning me and/or my time, and my attention, and when they are jealous. A potential partner has to accept the fact that 90% of my friends are males because of the topics and projects I'm interested in and I'm doing. How could I be wanting owning someone if I don't wish that for others or treating me like this? It doesn't make any sense. That's a pure hypocrisy which is probably the first enemy of my value system. As for failing, it's true, that I, myself, have some fear to fail due to the perfectionistic 'nature'. However, the recent year of my biggest life crisis (engaging all life fronts) taught me the greatest lessons of failure. Failure for me has nothing to do with me thinking that others want me to solve the problem that I caused (how you put it in the video), but it's interesting to know that this phenomenon exists for others. I solve problems without thinking about that at all; I have little concern what others think on me; I just solve a problem with the efforts of my capabilities. Asking for help is indeed not the first action I would do but it doesn't automatically mean that it's due to pride, it just means I like figuring out things on my own to see where it takes me in terms of developing life skills. Thanks you for reading my long personal feedback.

When in doubt check with scriptures. The traditions worked and brought humanity through millennia of hardship, and we are all here, able to even discuss this subject, for that very same reason. It's the only system that has ever worked for the long haul! As we stray more and more from the classic gender roles, calamity comes to retune the cross we all must bear. For some things are Devinely Chosen and not to be taken for granted! That is the crux to bear. It's fixed, it's the crucifix symbolized in nature. Some things are definitely not granted as choice. Just like we can't swim 4 miles deep under water as a naked human being without great manipulation. Great manipulation is sin, no doubt! 🙏

Infj here. It may seem like we are running away, we are not. I can only speak for myself. Two things, first thing, when stuff blows up in our face, our battery immediately depletes. We need to recharge, so we have to disappear and be by ourselves and let the dust calm down. During this time we need to take our mind off of it and focus on something else. I know when I take my mind off of that problem, I find the solution. We just need time. Every heard of the term, "need to sleep on it". The other reason, because a narcissist/toxic person put us into a trap, we need to get away from that emotional state and regroup. Maybe we all need just a little patience instead of trying to force everyone to get things done when we want them done. If you work from 9am to 5pm. Do you assign a big project at 4pm, knowing it will take 3 hours to complete, then say you cannot leave until the project is done. This making you leave work at 7pm, instead of 5pm? Or do you just push the project to next business day and start it first thing?

This statement resonates deeply.. though I'm uncertain about its complete accuracy. I tend to attribute this to my extraverted thinking's elusive nature, but I'm open to listening and allowing my introverted intuition to steer me. Subsequently, my introverted thinking will unravel the true essence of the situation. It seems like C.S. was expressing personal frustrations. INFJs, with their complex nature.. can be challenging to understand. However.. once they resolve their internal conflicts… they often emerge as guiding lights. It appears that's the essence of C.S. Joseph's message. Truly a remarkable observation…

It's interesting how I've always been intj, but with your test I came as infj. I'm still trying to learn more on your channel because I still can't pinpoint it since I find myself both in many ways. I do agree with the "afraid of failure" aspect of life. I've been married to a esfj for almost 10 years now and she's my "ride or die". The strive to perfection is something I wish I could get rid of. It has been good for me in certain things but also held me back from taking more risks. Thank you for the constructive criticism because I needed to hear it.

This video hit home. 😪💔. My last boyfriend is an INFJ and he left me for the low hanging fruitful hoes one I know of is an ENFP when he caused problems in our relationship. He disrespected me by saying "Remind me not to have sex with your sister". That was an INFJ in his ESTP subconscious or ENFP shadow. I wasn't giving him as much attention as he wanted. He was lonely a lot and jealous of the guy who was dating one of his hoes. I found out that my boyfriend was cheating on me with a hoe who had a boyfriend and he kept cheating one with her giving her money and buying her jewelry to get her to be his. I found out her name and remembered seeing her and found her profile on Facebook and saw that she had boyfriend who is now her husband. The poor guy has no clue what a whore he is married to and how she is a no good whore.

Chase, I’m having a conversation with you as I listen to this. First of all: YES. The idea of “ownership of what’s mine” is what has led to some of my most irrational behavior. “Oh God, I failed, I’m gonna lose what’s mine!” And every failure became a catastrophe. Granted, much of this is a trauma response, too. That fear of abandonment used to lead to me just needing to run away temporarily to clear my head, because when I would see broken pieces from damage I caused, that I would never be able to fix (because they’ll remember that forever, like I remember my trauma forever), and a spirit of fear would often overcome me. My faith is the only thing that keeps me from repeatedly doing this anymore. Christ holds me accountable more than any other person does. He says “Be perfect, as your Father in Heaven is perfect,” but He also says “You will have tribulation in this life, but take heart, I have overcome the world.” And that includes my failure. There’s nothing that can’t be fixed if all parties involved are willing to do the work. So put your hands in the dirty dishwater, at least long enough to find the drain plug, and pull it out so you can fill the sink with clean water and soap.

I don't run, I stay right in place. However, does one forgive over 4 years in a row every week while trying to get them to come around from their own self hatred? I'm certain, I've forgiven that one far more than 70 times 7 times. Yes, more than 490 times and scolded for everything I did right and scolded even further for the things I did wrong, even repeated the shavers Infront of others. meanwhile the mistakes were always while under chronic attack for not doing the good things good enough to meet this ones expectations. No theft, violence or adultery involved either. That was a rock solid lesson and I've always been loving and giving but this one could turn any heart to stone eventually. Now I can give it to those who are innocent and deserving, where it actually feels really good and healthy to do. I've decided to show it to the community and the children as my way of utilizing my nature. I really do thank that one, deep down, for the Devine lessons in seeing what kind of horrendous Trap I am/was capable of falling into! My God! I amaze my self sometimes. 🙏😂🙏 Thanks CSJ! I think one thing I would appreciate would be more concrete examples of the abstract concepts. Perhaps when you say INFJs try to be perfect but then run away from their problems when they fail, you could provide an example from a personal experience or something you’ve heard so that listeners can understand what you mean specifically. Thanks for the vids and glad you’re feeling better!
@throwod2923
@throwod2923 Жыл бұрын
At the end of the video as well when you say INFJs need to let go of their pride and ask for help it would be helpful, at least for me, if you provided a concrete example such as how that might look in an office setting or some other common setting, like you’ve fallen behind and you want to just fix it yourself and not let anyone else know you’re not perfect but that’s going to cause more problems most likely so instead you need to take a deep breath, be humble, and ask your coworkers for some help on getting caught up and that’s ok. I that because of the way you think the way you riff and expand on ideas, providing concrete examples for problems and concrete steps to solving them would really allow you to expand on these ideas in a fun and edifying way for your example, like, I would love to hear the way you would talk about the office example because I’m sure you could go into all sorts of different ways of looking at it and all sorts of different aspects of the causes and effects of those aspects at play. Just a thought :) thanks.

INFJ's are never jealous they actually think jealousy competition, hatred, envy, people pleasing, meeting anyone's standards is a useless things. Actually nothing in this materialistic world motivates them what does motivate them Is their inner richness, peace and satisfaction. They want to live life within. Their biggest problem stems from their empathy where they just can't help to see someone suffering so deep that they just gravitate towards that person trying whatever possible way there is to take their pain away. They are givers and give only because it fulfils them from inside not for any worldly motives and yes as human beings they can't help but associate some expectations subconsciously in return from that person that is never met as because of this dynamics they are mostly overlooked, taken for granted or ridiculed as they give so freely of their time and energy. In the end with this twisted world they become a thing 'Too good to be true' as they think in terms of shamins or sages that has little to no interest in superficial things in life. They only leave when they tried hard and the person himself or herself is not willing to ascend or work on themselves. We meet headon to our problems but we don't want anyone to be extremely codependent on us we don't want to feed them but to teach them how to catch fish.

@@bobbyjean1581 Chase's typing is not his strongsuit. He gets some right but he gets as many if not more wrong, he's too careless, rushed, and sloppy in his typing. He often misreads certain things being said or behavioral cues as "pragmatism", "affiliative", etc. and being Fi blind lacking psych insight, oblivious to real motive or psychological reason behind something being said doesn' help either. Even if we theoretically assume pragmatism was correctly detected in Markle, ENFJs can be fairly pragmatic and realstic (Se tertiary) in order to realistically Se get to their Ni goals....I think Se, being realistic, often gets confused with pragmatism. Si is also more pragmatic in orientation (esp Si + Te), and in ENFJs, Si is their secret agenda despite being Si-blind. Trust your perception, look how strong and fluid Marckle's Fe is, like that of an Fe dom....ESTP's Fe child does not that kind of fluency and nuanced seemlessness, Fe child is more sloppy and over-exagerrated...like's Chase's Fe child as an ENTP as a matter of fact, he's bombastic and too over the top dramatic with it, even proud of it. With ENFJ, that strong Fe is much more competently controlled and fluent.

Yeah, the investment and bond formed between a couple of people doesn't need to be thrown away because just it didn't work at a certain point of the relationship. Failure is a problem because we don't fail enough early on. Sticking around to fix something, aside from something physical, like oops, I screwed up your fence, or spilled wine... That kind of shit just depends on someone's integrity. Sticking around after emotional shit is akin to continuing to rub in the fact that we failed so we get to relive that thanks Si demon, that we left in the first place, and that we're gonna leave again anyway. So at every turn we're reminded and guilt tripped for our failure. Even when people do and say nice things to try and show kindness, they're not (usually) being authentic. The words don't match the feelings and early on we have to take them at their word, but eventually we realize the entire world gaslights us. "Oh, no, that's fine" "oh, please stick around" " nothing to apologize for" Really? Because I really fucked shit up, and I'm very sorry. "No, of course not" (only to be abused by their niceness in action, and contradictory feelings that they think they're hiding.)

Are you sure you're not confusing the types? Because it seems to be the other way around. ENFPs are doing it to INFJs. INFJs are the ones who give ENFPs the opportunity to fix the problem and are very forgiving. That's because they are more afraid of abandonment than they care about the "bad thing" that was done by the ENFP. An ENFP will act like that because he feels like he did something wrong (Fi). Then he will be upset that the other person is going to think poorly of him (Te). Then he will predict that he is going to receive a bad experience from the other person (Si inferior). All of this he pridefully assumes with his Ne hero, so he will act quickly with Se demon to protect his Si inferior from a bad experience, when all this time this had nothing to do with reality, and his demon ended up damaging someone completely innocent. So from the outside, this behavior can be interpreted as an INFJ with Se inferior who is afraid of failing others and being abandoned, so they "prevent" that by abandoning first. But where is the logic in preventing abandonment by abandonment? This is not the case. There is, however, logic in preventing perceived future bad experiences by abandonment.
