This was a great video. Thank you for sharing. As an INTJ, I have come to the realization that Ni heroes lead with a "come with me" style of leadership. This means the Ni dom leads by example, as you mentioned, but also, through charting a course and long-term vision of where to go in life. People are then drawn to that flame of Ni passion and tag along once they know where the Ni dom is heading. Through embodying their personal vision as Jung would say, and charting a course, Ni hero becomes the tip of the spear navigating and cutting through to a better tomorrow. -INTJ UD|SF

Let me tell you, you one of the few INTJs out there that's actually healthy. Your Ti critic strong, and you keep pushing forward with that Se aspirational energy, always striving for more. I gotta give it up to you, homie. You had a tough upbringing, but you keep on grinding and staying hopeful. You a true surmounter, just like your name suggests. Don't let nobody bring you down, keep pushing and climbing higher with great typology content and music. Respect, my dude!

Fairly certain I'm a UD/UF INTJ woman. I've noticed that one of my biggest hang-ups in life is hypocrites. I almost always lead by example so that people have proof that something I'm pushing works. Which is why it's so frustrating being written off because I feel like I've put in the works and laid it out perfectly for them if they'd only TRY. It absolutely sucks seeing so many people around me with the potential to be fulfilled in life if they just corrected a few things. Anyway, glad to know I'm not just insane lol.

The best thing I have learned from all your content and the mbti as a whole is to absolutely appreciate each type for who they are. It has allowed me to put those around me in better positions to win understanding there IS more than one way to do things and to almsot shun the entire 4 letter code dynamic and even the function stacks in a way and just tackle individual functions I personally need to improve while having the ability to identify healthy versions of those functions within my realm of existence. So cheers Chase. We sometimes even need to let go of the possession and attachment to type and as you say become enlightened and able to access healthy and wise versions of all our cognitive functions. Keep up the good work. Those who hate miss the ENTIRE point of the yin/yang and you have to appreciate that the reciprocal of your views exist. As much as I would love to run the world, it would surely suck to have 8 billion of me. Would get old quick lol

I'm a female INFP who fell in love -with- at a male INFJ. :) You nailed this video! He wants me to adopt his views, which I do try-on for a while and usually find he's right but the urgency of it from him is intense! Btw, "Chastity" and all the depth and facets of its definitions has been his big creative kick for a few years now!

Your INFJ must feel so lucky and happy knowing someone would accept to listen to him to the point of concluding he's right in the end. Cause we're all about realizing potential in the real world, it's so fulfilling for us. People 90% of the time directly assume we want to control them to serve our own plans and desires but actually we genuinely focus on our community first and foremost. That's how we work. Of course, we can be wrong but if we share our view to control things, it's for others' benefit. Otherwise, we don't need to share it. Sometimes there is urgency to it because our estimations about future events make us determine things could go very wrong and become inevitable if we don't act way in advance and it creates anxiety for us for you all. There are a lot of unexpected benefits from *"Chastity"* or *"Renunciation"* (even tho I totally know INFPs, INTPs, ENFPs and ENTPs can find it very boring, which I can totally hear). It's just it can seriously save you from a lot of troubles in life.

So basically if your not recieving what your giving back, stop valuing that person and performing for that person as much as you are? For example if they are treating you like an acquaintance after treating them like a friend, you should stop and treat them like an acquaintance. But if you treat someone like a friend and they are treating you like a friend back then thats a bond to be valued. Am I understanding this right? And a way an inj leads is by example, not control, or motivation, or fostering anything but by living by example and others will choose themselves to live that way if they want to too.

I am a male INTJ who recently got door slammed by an INFJ because I would not adopt her views. She had a Massiah Complex and was selling her spirituality. She was so invested in her cult leadership that it was the only lens she could see other people through. It was clear from the beginning that I was not going to be another one of her disciples and that alone was enough for her to cut me off. I see a really disturbing trend with INFJ's in particular, where they honestly believe they have no faults and that their way is infallible. They constantly stroke each others ego and enable each other, blaming all their failures on the projected faults of others. Every personality type does this to some degree, but INFJ's take it to a pathological level, where they literally believe they are the second coming of the massiah. Problem with this is, from an INTJ point of view, is that they do not grasp the concept of personal subjective belief and they confuse their emotions for objective truth, which is the worst self-deception imaginable. To them their ideas are so profound and flawless, because that is what their feelings tell them, but from an INTJ perspective they are flimsy and cannot support the weight of any rational scrutiny. They have a problem with confusing subjective feelings with objective rational truth, yet they are convinced that everyone around them is intellectually inferior. If you challenge their Guru/Massiah complex they will cut you off faster than you can blink. They can be the worst kind of delusional and have the manipulative capability to really fool massive amounts of people. As an INTJ I understand cutting people off, but I usually only do it after the person has established a pattern of at least 3 offenses. The INFJ's I know just hear 1 thing they don't like and immediately disqualify a person, based on their horoscope or a Tarot reading. They see no irrationality in their own behavior, their feelings say it is so, so it must be reality.

INTJs are not necessarily the first to take the initiative to be a leader in a group nor are they considered one when introduced into a group; however, over time they can gain that place without even looking for it, just based on sheer rationality, determination, great performance, good morals and a good sense of humor (often involuntary), that is, being themselves and being exposed to the same people long enough to earn admiration and respect.

So is then the role of INJs to liberate and maximize freedom of people by delivering from attachments and allowing for the formation of healthy bonds? Is then the role within society that of destruction of attachments or structures and the creation of new bonds and cycles? So both destroyers and creators? Both the highest evil through destruction of attachments and the highest good through creation of bonds? Edit: Can I get the heart again, Chase? I was still editing my comment and it deleted it. I want peace also. I want to improve things. I think you need to tell more and expand on what role each type has within society. That would allow us to be complementary with your system rather than be opposing it. By lacking a direction we are naturally going against. By being given a direction we start to harmonize.

@kyurei4478 Жыл бұрын
I always thought that way personally but refused to say it out loud just because that automatically sounds arrogant and nobody will listen to you if you say the world would be better by adopting your way. But since the INxJs are all about substance, what's beneath the surface of reality and meaningful, and I think everyone will agree that the substance always matters more than the form, it makes sense that following our more detached way to live would guide humanity towards personal freedom cause only the spirit or the mind can be free from the rules of concrete reality to reach fulfillment. I usually refer to "attachment" as "superficiality", the most surface-level experience of life without the depth that sensors can usually be trapped in when they don't consult their Introverted Intuition at all, or Extraverted Intutioner more rarely when they go on too many tangents and don't ask themself why they want to do something. But everyone would call you crazy for saying people are too attached to their reality. There doesn't seem to be any issue with living the moment and being attached and fully connected to things in the world we live in at first glance cause it feels right. People would tend more to say that it's not healthy to live too much in your head cause then you're not attached to your world, but precisely. I think the key word here is *renunciation* , to be more chaste and learn to renounce the superficial experiences that won't bring meaningfulness in your life and focus on bonds and such. Cause by suppressing we can keep serenity in our minds. That's usually how we clear our minds as INxJs and why we can be certain of what must be achieved to be contented in our lives. But by wanting to form bonds only as we should and with no attachment whatsoever, it's sure that we usually stay on our own and don't experience life as much. I feel like we don't really want to be leaders though, I let that to ENxJs. Simply being a healthy source of inspiration when we're also healthy would be fine. Thanks for the video. It was really instructive and it feels weird to be understood and validated in such personal ways to judge the world.
@icingcake
@icingcake 6 ай бұрын
Renunciation is a good word. I don’t think he is talking about INJs wanting to be leaders, but how they lead in fact - people follow even if you have no intention to be a leader.
@kyurei4478
@kyurei4478 6 ай бұрын
I think renunciation is indeed an important Ni notion to keep in mind that reminds us we should choose what we engage into wisely because it's always a non negligeable commitment when we want to do things right and stay away from unecessary trouble to build an easy and clear path in our minds. Sometimes doing nothing isn't immobilism but just a mindful decision to keep control efficiently. So many people seem to forget this because they want to live to the fullest but that's exactly what gets them in so much trouble and can have terrible consequences sometimes. It's usually the case of ENxPs and ESxPs from experience. That's how INxJs particularly can usually keep their mind at peace by anticipating more. That's why we're naturally so mindful, there is no secret. Learning to be more detached from the world offers you a bigger picture view on everything to reflect on it. Oh yeah but I wasn't specifically talking about wanting to be a leader but just having the stress and the responsibilities of someone following you when INJs stay introverts and quite solitary. The title of the video mentions "leader" too so I think he was referring to it. Also people tend to naturally follow ENJs' charisma more I feel like. They're more literal for people which is naturally easier to get.
@icingcake

@@kyurei4478 agreed. I’m Catholic so renunciation makes me think about baptism rites and “renouncing Satan” lol. But sometimes even the good is the enemy of the great. @@icingcake Oh I see. I didn't really mean renunciation in a religious sense but more in a general sense. But I guess you could see the temptations that bring you nothing good as Satan lol. If you associate it with something negative there isn't that much of a difference in the end. I noticed many INTJs are believers. Of course it's important to know when to renounce and when not to, which is the difficult part. I don't think INFJs make the best leaders either to be honest because too anxious and undecisive. It goes without saying too much of everything is bad, including attachment. Noone will convince a decent human that it's fundamentally bad, only hurt and betrayed people, which I sympathize with but don't agree with. Nah I'll never see attachment as a bad thing fuck that edgelord crap that's a sign of hurt Fi in the ego stack. Y'all can put emo makeup and act distant and then eventually bitter but I love the few people in my life a lot. Although it's VERY tempting to abandon everything and go be alone I admit. The ideal dream is to have a few special people close to you and that's the only thing that matters, then we can be alone together💀💀
@kyurei4478
@kyurei4478 Жыл бұрын
Well, if you established bonds and not attachments to the few people you love in your life, where is the problem really? You love them and they love you for good reasons. You're good. Indeed you're right, nobody will convince the average human that attachment is fundamentally bad, because nobody tries to think that way and the status quo is to be attached. If no one does, no one will follow. The same goes for open-mindedness for example. I think you're missing the point if you see it as just hurt and betrayed people who adopt an edge lord attitude. In fact, I would say wanting attachment is more a mark of hurt Fi when you have an unhealthy need for love. You don't necessarily become bitter, it can make you wiser thanks to this distance and you can continue to care through a bond. Passion and loyalty are things that can go terribly wrong. The solution to it is to detach. I don't think he meant abandoning everything but just putting a distance to stay unbiased. To me, the ideal dream is to have anybody who can be closer to you. I think that's the utopia of wiser individuals humanity shall aim for that truly matters in the end. I think your vision corresponds more to the status quo, which I don't think is a bad vision at all, but creates separated and potentially hateful groups of people, and maybe we can go beyond that. Then we can simply be together ❤❤.

@@aladdout9454 I see. Of course, human relationships are crucial. Indeed, that's what I understood from this video. He quickly explained it at 6:02 but maybe he should have given more examples. Attachment is maybe too vague as a term in the context of relationships cause I don't see the word as only being used in the case of a one-way relationship or a toxic relationship. But it's true that being attached means you can't be on your own so detached in general so I also get the choice of word. Ok. Of course, everyone should continue to have relationships but simply make sure that they're beneficial for each other so healthy and meaningful for everyone.

Hey Chase, are you really still UF? Most probably you know better of course but from the outside your work is really producing and inspiring more hope (UD/SF), not so much despair (UF). I think to get out of the UF-trap (which you said is rather a coping mechanism for the brain), it would make more sense to understand cognitive focus as something what you do/or produce/ or how one acts, instead of the sentiment why sb does what he does. Maybe in order to change cognitive focus, it helps to actively and consciously concentrate on the cognitive origin. For example in your case: SF would mean producing satisfaction is more important than producing of reverance. Cognitive origins could out-compete all the soft locking, and demonic child octagram-dynamics. If the origins can't out-do octagramm-layer: maybe one could soft lock oneself, but by framing the cognitive origin but in a way that integrated the optimistic and pessimistic notions. For example: soft locking oneself into the subconscious: Si would be optimistic and Fe pessimistic, if I have it right. One could say: I built hope (optimistic) by dutifully (Si) producing satisfaction for a greater ethics (Fe, based on pushing back fatherlessness; pushing back-attitude is rather a pessimistic than optimistic framing). Thus, building hope but with the focus on building the pessimistic minded parent function of the subconscious could a way to go from UF to SF, without any help from outside Hope this makes sense

@@qasimimtiaz9668 after studying about attachments I realised that i'm anxious to a point,and then turn avoidant. If I feel like someone sleeping away , or that they could potentially reject me, I try to cling on the harder till I cant anymore and then completely avoid that person while still hoping they wont leave me.its really horrible😅

Apparently yeah. It's not fake but the Big Five showed better results. Still, I think it's a more comprehensible system for the average person. And good for personal development.
