INTJs, Chase is correct. Learn from your failures throughout your journey and focus on improving today more than yesterday. Track your improvements for motivation if necessary. If you are risk averse, start with taking a tiny risk and increase your risk level each time. Every achievement began with taking the first step and the next step and so on.

My dilemma is not as you're making it out to be. Maybe I don't speak for all INTJs, but I'm not "scared" of any outcomes or entitled to them. I simply don't see outcomes worth pursuing. You hit a lot of things right, that the journey is the point and our procrastination and aversion to pursing goals is our downfall. But it's more about picking the right path and there being no good paths available in this fucked up system that fits our Fi child's need for moral clarity and fulfillment.

I share this exact same experience with you as an INTJ. When I am in an indecisive mode, it's more of making sure every part of the plan is analyzed, and it is assigned to time to be executed. The fear maybe me messing up along the way which would cause needless complications, so I like to have a clear cut actionable plan that minimizes potential damages. But yes, I tend to become like a bulldoze when I am in execution mode. If there will be stuff that I need to be cautious of, out of fear that I may offend others needlessly, is to make the best use of Te and Se just so I could access my Fe. This requires a lot of effort on my part, and I would need my environment and the process of executing my plan to be as seamless as possible, for the sake of my friends and family to be able to jump out of their way before they get bulldozed without me knowing 😬

I get it. Seeking to feel being successful is a result seeking mindset? As an INFJ I never had this problem because what ever I wanted to achieve or dreamt about I planned strategically to achieve in life and a lot of it I did achieve. I have been a huge but calculated risk taker and that has been actually good and bad for me for like in my relationships I can't take a leap of faith with anyone, does not matter how much I am in love with that person if external circumstances does not allow me to plan having this person as my ultimate life partner plus that's why we INFJ are not jealous with other people's successes because the only person we compete is our own selves in the long run. While people are looking outside for validation we are looking inside as we believe the real life is to be lived from within. We also believe that everyone has their own path own sets of success and failures that has nothing to do with our life.

I know an ENTJ that has unrealistic relationship expectations, and yet can't think of anything but finding that perfect woman. He sounds more like your INTJ In that he has given up on a number of different endeavors, is not financially stable, Yet feels entitled to success. He sets high standards for new relationships, gets mad when they don't live up to his expectations but doesn't seem to mind breaking his own core values as long as he kind of apologizes afterwards for his unkindness or whatever. He does seem to be persistent in his pursuit, but keeps shooting himself in the foot and blaming the other person mostly(and doesn't seem able to stop doing the same things that are getting bad results.) Clearly not a healthy version of this type, but do you see this very often?

Thank you for all your contribution to my life. It's been incredible just how much my view on life, on people, on myself, and my way of relating with fellow humans have changed. I am excited for the journey ahead. I recently have been thinking lots about how each hero function comes in exactly two flavors - the parent on one flavor being the trickster of the other. There is a type using Ni hero in combination with Te parent and Fe trickster, and the only type that also uses Ni hero, will use Fe parent and Te trickster. Te hero only comes with either Ni parent and Si trickster, or with Si parent and Ni trickster. Let's say an ENTJ and an ESTJ collaborate to solve a problem. They would use arguments and take things into account which just so happen to speak to the trickster function of the other Te hero person. Have you spoken about how this usually plays out? For some reason this bugs me and I would love a deep dive.

Yeah this is ridiculous. And such sexist phrasing. What about men with a high body count? And what if you’re the one with a high body count? Should you still be looking for someone with a low count? That comment seemed problematically flippant; really poorly thought through.
@LaMach420 Жыл бұрын
@@faiora women form bonds through oxytocin which is released during sex. Men form bonds through vasopressin which means we bond by going through struggles together. Men as a result can fw a strange woman once or a few times without developing feelings, women have a much harder time with that. Therefore the more men a woman has slept with the higher expectations she has for you as a man cause he had X inch pp, that guy had more money, this one was more handsome, (insert name) was more funny, etc... chances are the man you can get only has 1 or 2 of those qualities, not all of them. Men are generally ok with dating an average chick if she brings him peace. I do understand it's a double standard but look at how many other ones exist favoring women. Life aint fair, dont hate the player, hate the game. I personally have a very low body count and high standards as a man but Ive also made peace with the possibility of ending up alone. If you dread that outcome, you must be willing to compromise.
@slatanek10 күн бұрын
@faiora Never get offended by facts. Consider this: From a biological standpoint when a man is in a room with say 20 women, he can impregnate all 20 of them in one night. Now turn the situation around and you'll notice any woman can get pregnant just once and then she has to go through a prolonged period of pregnancy. Point being men and women are biologically and psychologically different - men are built to impregnate as many women as possible, women are built to bear a child and bond with the father to seek security during the childbearing and raising process. Now I'm not saying men can do whatever they want, I am saying however having a high body count in men and women are 2 different things. For men it means being successful, cause getting a female to have sex with you is difficult. For women it's a sign of having bad judgment, cause it's very easy for a woman to get sex from a man, hence she should discern who she spreads legs for.
