Producing these beats is kind of just hard with stock plugins I’ve kind of gotten burnt out just trying to find a way to produce a melody or beat like that. Making an 808 or modern trap beat without the 808 but a hip hop kit gets me confused sometimes

Could you tell me which Halion Sonic SE patch you used. I cannot find any Wurlitzer patch (search by Wur*) in my Cubase 10.5 Pro HS SE :( Thanks a lot

Heyo! Here I actually used the Arturia Wurlitzer, but you can use the 'Suitcase' patches in Halion which are very similar!

Harith Ani definitely looks like an AKG C214 to me. IMO you can’t get a better all-purpose large diaphragm mic at this price level. It’s $399 USD.

This is a masterclass on knowing your DAW and how it works. I've spent a lot on 3rd party plugins to do what you did using Cubase's native effects.

For sure! I think it's always funny how surprised people get when you show things like this. With a bit of time and patience, I think a lot of producers would be amazed at what stock DAW stuff can do.
