I do voiceover work on occasion actually haha. Definitely don't overlook Retrologue - although on the surface it might seem a bit simple it's very capable of a large range of complex sounds if you understand the different modes/features. Flux as well is a lot of fun for some wavetable madness!

Is the custom preset we created via your walkthrough the same settings as the preview 808 sound you played at the beginning of the video? I created an identical preset as your walkthrough explains but it doesn't sound like your previewed 808 sound. Was there plugins on the master bus or anything different? Great tutorial either way, and thank you for your help!

great video. Your "Instruments" track sounds crazy. Did you slow down the audio (ie. halftime or gross beat) or did your pads and instruments just have that sound naturally? Great track as well.

He showed it in the first tutorial. He converted a Wurli to audio then reversed and slowed it down in half with tape algorithm.

Dude... ...punctuation exists for a reason. Please pause between sentences. It's not always easy to parse the unending word-salad-stream which you constantly dump. I really want to learn what you are teaching, but those if us with ADHD can reeeeally struggle unfortunately.

It's possible that Cubase gives him a time limit and he's trying to fit everything in under 10 minutes. Also, pause buttons exist for a reason...
@zacharywhite54664 жыл бұрын
Can always use a pause button. Its not a college lecture.

Yo! Due to time constraints the video had to be edited to minimize dead air as much as possible, and I wanted to make sure that as many details were communicated as possible otherwise some folks may feel that information was left out. However, you can always rewatch if needed!

@@unisonarcanine i am cubase user for 10 years now, I won't change. But it is not understandable that they don't adapt faster to the best feature of other DAW. Cubase 11 fix some of it, but 150€ for an update it is a scam !!!

@@HIT9PROJECT just wait for summer sale and it will be under $100. I do agree they could be cheaper, but I'd argue you get what you pay for. For example frequency EQ is much better than FL's EQ.
