"The Silent Man" Lyrics: Silence came crawling. There is a man at the door. In the absence of light, we merge with our shadows. Rise and ride my friend. Together we’ll bring on the end. The water seems darker. A scent of fear is in the air. Eyes in every corner. Movements everywhere. Heavy is the burden Clouds roll in to rectify Step by step we falter and all good things must die. The door can’t withstand his voice. With heavy strides he enter. Deliverance at last. He speaks words from the dead. “In dreams I see what is coming. Wolves in man’s clothing. There is no escape for the meek. The ground beneath them is eroding.”

The production is awesome as always, that's the only band that have such an "organic" sound for this genre. To me this track is in continuity of Vertikal (Mariner is something appart) but with a bit of the past albums (Eternal Kingdom, Salvation). The Artwork shows it pretty well I think. COL are able to learn from their previous stuff to make their next sounds more complex, dynamic and full of emotions. Each album is amazing in his own way: the sens of details in structures, arrangements and sound identity ( thank you Magnus Lindberg) is on an other level. One of my favourite bands of all time !

@Xeph Xen A lot of the songs here repeat sections, which is supposedly a no-no in yer fictional genre. 20 years ago - before hipsterism existed in metal - this music would have easily qualified as progressive metal. But yeah, I know that prog metal isn't hip enough anymore for the insecure hipster crowd, so keep calling this post-whatever. Hey, whatever words help with feeling less insecure and more intellectual, go for it.

Climate change has always gone on. Even before humans even existed there was climate change. Every Planet has a change of climatic conditions. Just look at Mars. There used to be Oceans. Urgency to act because the climate is changing is the most useless thing anyone could ever have. The mindset is changing because there's money to be made with the current key demographic of the big conglomerates' products and services. Not because all of a sudden everyone likes the colour green. Think. But think right.
