Turn off your electronic devices [phone, computer, tv, etc] one hour prior to bedtime, soothing music is fine but no blue screens. Make sure your bed is comfortable and your bedroom is dark and cool. Herbs can interact with prescription drugs, talk to your dr first. These foods are good for you and even if they don't work unlike herbs they won't hurt you. Oddly, I'v been eating these foods in the am....who knew?

🙏 some of my notes : Cherries are packed with melatonin, just 10-15 cherries, a kop of 100 % pure cherry juice an hour before bed can also be helpfull. 2) Almonds are packed with magnesium crusial for nerves and muscle, and vitamin E and healthy fats reducing inflammation eating a small amount 1 hour before bed. 3) bananas vit B6 seratonim and melatonim. Regulating mood and helps with preparing for sleep. 4) oatmeal a Great source of tryptofan regulating sleep. High in magnesium and zink. Zink help the produktion of melatonim. - you can also eat it soaked during the day with a bit of nuts and organic soyamilk. 5) warm milk super rich in tryptophan that helps with production of serotonin and we have to get the tryptophan from foods such as nuts or if you are eating animal foods from milk or chicken, meat . You can also make warm milk ( organic soya milk without sugar) and with a bit of cocoa and a honey 6) kiwis rich in serotonin and antioxidants reducing inflammation and helping your sleep quality. Make salad with kiwi and avocado 7) camomile reduce anxiety and has a calming effect - simply enjoy a warm camomile tea with a bit of honey.

I haven't seen them fresh. But I've seen them dried at Trader Joe's & Whole Foods . Pls be sure to read the labels to avoid added sugar, artificial sweetners, suffer, ect. When avoiding sulfer and the like, the fruit is often not uniform in color or look. Tart cherry juice is available in both health food stores & at least at Ralph's and Vons, but it is usually found in the organic juice section. Stores usually have their own brand (s) and several name brands. It is expensive. Friends have sworn by the Trader Joe's brand. As for me, tart cherry juice is a no can do for me, it's too tart. Kroger owns not only its name sake stores, but also 20+ stores all around the U.S. including Ralphs and Stop & Shop. Happy shopping!
