I got the Cantu curl activator and it looked great at first but then didn't hold up well. It could have been the new gel I tried too and I didn't use enough, but I had better results twice with no curl activator.

❤️3:50 time stamp to mark where to watch 😉; MOUSSE AND WATER 💦 REFRESH; Susie says this method is for hair that still has moisture and some definition. If your hair is moderately or more smashed, then you should REFRESH with water, leave-in conditioner, and gel. (She has a separate video showing that method)
@WendyDussault4 жыл бұрын
Susie I put a lite conditioner and kinky curly custered + water in a spray bottle and that's it I am good to go so fast. I also will diffuse for a little bit to set the curls/wavys and then air dry after that.

I bought this mousse immediately after watching this video last month and finally had a reason to try it out today. I cannot believe how improved and bouncy my hair is! I typically do a full wet and reset at night every other day or so, with a wash roughly every 6 days. I was due for a wash last night and just wasn't up for it, but I have to teach this evening via Zoom, so a pony tail wasn't going to cut it. Thanks for the great tips and tricks!

I have watched your videos for almost 2 years now and you are the person who inspired me to embrace my curls!! Thank you for providing such amazing videos!! It was nice to see a fellow-Maritimer doing such amazing curly hair videos!! Because I'm working from home now, I'm not using gel every day but find leaving in my conditioner leaves me with really nice curls. I have a fair bit of TRESemme conditioner (not what I normally use but have alot of it) but I am not the most confident yet at reading labels. I'm wondering if this is curly girl approved. Would you be willing to tell me? To follow are the ingredients: Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Behentrimonium Chloride, Parfum, Dipropylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Potassium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone

Your hair looks great, even before you prepped it for the day. My routine for my 3a-3b curls is even more minimalist. On a regular wash day (I use JBCO ++ every 10 days or so) I only add a tiny bit of Maui Moisture. Refresh days are just to pour a cup of water over my morning hair, scrunch and blot and then leave it alone. Nice clumps and no frizz. Not sure why this works so well but I’m happy with it. 😊

Great video! Do you ever deal with bad knots after day 1? If so how do you deal with them? Should I comb out before refreshing? I’m always tempted to just comb parts out, but then my hair would get frizzy and lose any definition (if I comb it out, my hair is more straight and gives me triangle hair appearance)

I'm being completely honest...I've been a customer of BOTH Bellamihair (twice) and LuxyHair and let me just say that the quality is definitely noticeable after a couple of months. Luxyhair sustained me for a 3months. Bellamihair matted and looked awful after 4 mos. After so much dissapointment i found ZALA through an ad - thought what the heck and made an order and that was a year ago - i still wear that set i purchased from ZALA everyday! I love them so much they're so soft and thick :D
