My setup is identical. My pump failed after 4 months and a dozen or so washes. Kranzle denied my warranty claim. They say that the unit isn’t designed to be hard piped and mounted on a shelf. OG wouldn’t do anything to help and basically said sorry but we don’t warranty the unit Kranzle does. Even though they require you to go through them for warranty work. My advice is to avoid this and look at other solutions. They don’t stand behind what they sell or promote.

Matt at Obsessed Garage has created something special with the Kranzle wall mount pressure washer system. The shipping & packaging were meticulously done, the install was simple and it works beautifully. Not only is it a pleasure to use on my cars, it’s really useful for cleaning dirty mountain bikes and RVs! It's the best garage addition I can imagine and my neighbors are soon envious!

Matt what i did to solve the excess water dripping from the hose (once reeled up) was to get an FTP SS plug with a 3/8" SS hex socket plug. Pop it on the hose end and roll the hose up, no water dripping. Works like a charm. Great looking setup BTW!!

M Goode I agree 100%. Instead of dragging out and setting up my gas pw, I simply turn on my hose bib, turn the kranzle on, pull the hose off the reel, and start spraying. Makes the car washing process so much quicker and easier

the shelbanator yes. My pressure washer was stored in my shed. Transferring hoses back and forth from buckets to hose nozzle to pw added time to the wash process with multiple on and offs of the hose bibs. Now I have the kranzle in my garage always hooked up. The water flows out of the kranzle almost as fast as it does from my hose so the buckets fill up rather quick. I was spending about an hour and a half washing 1 car start to finish. My new streamlined process only takes me about an hour. Multiply that over our 6 cars, huge difference.

With your sheer Genius that's your gifted with I would love to see you in sign pressure washing systems for boat docks that could be mounted and I've been I'm all about a space and use accepted chemicals that would be going into the water after the boats are rinsed off are washed. It would be nice if you could crank that Kranzle pressure gauge 90° so you can read it even if you're not as tall as Mat. I think an adapter is necessary if the wall-mount unit is like the K1122TST. That's one nifty setup!

I basically am going to install my Sun Joe pump somewhere on my cargo van (possibly inside, or outside, under, etc) I'll only need it to clean off vehicle components, engine, as needed. I do like the retractable hose which encourages cleaning by avoiding the hassle factor of manually rolling up a hose and then storing it somewhere. The reel will also act as a storage area for the hose. Maybe make the hose reel removable, so I can remove it and only install it when actively using the pressure washer system for a week, then remove it. Well, can't wait to find the time to put it all together, but I will need the reel with appropriate water connectors from the (pump removed from the Sun Joe) to the reel. Nothing fancy, just getting rid of the upright Sun Joe format not needed. I got the Sun Joe at a discount, so it makes sense to see if its internal pump can be mounted as a standalone pump.

Hey Matt why don’t you make a plug stop that plugs into the the end of your hose before you reel it up or plug it in in the final stages (last 10 ft of reeling) then you won’t leak any water when you are doing the final reel up. Todd

You should put the master cutoff valve right where the water line exits the wall, and have a petcock right above that so you can drain the whole system after use, considering the aluminum lines are unproven for water.

When you switch the valve off to your filter, you will have water backup into the opposite side of the manifold. If you move the lower right valve to the top right, after the last elbow, it should not back up into the filter.

I for the life of me can't get my hose to look that smooth on my Cox Reel when I reel it up. When I assembled the hose the the center of the reel, it stuck up a tad in the center so when I roll it up there's this little "bump up" from the hose not being more level like this one when rolling up. Water comes out just fine and works great, just not as asthetic as the one in this video. NO clue how to remedy it so it is level and smooth when I roll it up.

Will you make a covered wash station of some sort so you're not washing in direct sunlight?
@ObsessedGarage

Probably not. This will have to be a wash in the morning when the sun is not beating down on me.

How do you read the water pressure gauge without a step ladder? #tooshortmatty

You really don't need to see it as you'll be using the same pressure all the time.

Would there be any benefit to using the 4.0 nozzle on a "regular" pressure washer like a 2,000 PSI 1.2 GPM unit?
@ObsessedGarage
@ObsessedGarage 6 жыл бұрын
No, you would want a larger opening. 2.0 would be the way to go no that pump.
@Patrick94GSR
@Patrick94GSR 6 жыл бұрын
Shows you how much I know haha. I thought 4.0 indicated a larger opening. Is it possible to lower the PSI output without losing any GPM?
@ObsessedGarage
@ObsessedGarage 6 жыл бұрын
Sorry I said that backwards. 2.0 is smaller. I was thinking F stop for cameras. But you'd still want a 2.0.
