I wonder how much this helps towing....bc the 6.2 liter....I heard has to have high rpm to pull heavy up hill. Where as the 7.3 has the power at low rpm
@MKTECHUA2 жыл бұрын
Very true , it’s a good question , what u heard is true ,. That extra boost from the Whipple does it with lower rpm. However, I’m just saying that bc I drove it so many times with that kinda power . I have to test it in order to prove my point .
@madmod Жыл бұрын
Much like the V10, they have noproblem towing. Just do so at higher revs. The 6.2 aint bad tho.

Lol I doubt anybody buys a 6.2 v8 for hood gas mileage 😂😂
@jacobmoore62142 жыл бұрын
Depends if your driving it like you normally would not much but if your using the power ur using more fuel the thing I’d do is replace the rear end ratio with a diesels like 3.31 that way you get better mileage and you’d still have tons of power

@WileyEWilly4 жыл бұрын
Supercharger kit is $7500 by itself. Then add in the cost of install by a shop=$$$$😉. Got to have deep pockets for that 675hp 6.2L🙂. Would love to have it for my 2011 CCSB. But will probably just regear to 4.56 since adding 35" tires. It's a dawg now with factory 3.73's😔

It's a heavy duty superduty truck, I don't think you have to worry unless you start getting closer to 800 power level, that 6.2 comes on so smooth it'll be fine

I’m only looking to keep the gas engine making full power at altitude when I’m hauling my fifth wheel. The diesel is way more expensive to buy, to drive and to maintain. I just want a turbo-normalized engine.
