Seeing you in winnipeg man! SOOO stoked for the concert - my dad just splurged on 3rd row seats this afternoon. Hoping its gonna be as good as the past few I have seen glimpses of. Tosin Abasi's guitars are so cool. Look forward to seeing you and Steve and I wanted to share my excitement. Also, your story is straight up inspirational - I heard it first from tyler (music is win) on his video and its so cool. 💪

I totally get the lightning bolt glowing. I have a 91 Charvel super strat I love that has the crackle finish and it's old and all that, but when I look at that guitar it's so beautiful. It's the best crackle finish I've ever seen. It's not really busy like most crackles and it just rocks. I bought this guitar at the pawn shop I worked at and I bought it for 225 dollars and I see them for sale for 700 to 1400 on Reverb, bur I would never sell it. I know the original owner and the music store he purchased it from new.. It has a schaller floyd rose that stays in tune if you threw the guitar against a wall. You can't knock it out of tune after setting it up.. I love that guitar.. I also have a Les Paul Junior from a Canadian Luthier that I bought and glued the neck in and put all the hardware and electronics in and I love it too.. Because of Steve and people like him and Paul Gilbert and Kiss' guitarists I bought a Dimarzio PAF Pro for that guitar as it has only one humbucker.. I also now am putting together a strat with two EMG humbuckers and standard 6 hole trem that I just deck. It has stainless frets.. I love guitars. I'm a guitar pig.. 😛 That guitar is soo cool and they did a great job.. Epoxy does make it look 3 d for sure! God speed sir and I hope you and the band and crew are well.. Please be safe! Hope you're in top of health for the tour which is going back. 💯That's the Bowie guitar design ! 😉 I love the glittering rendering ! I understood that pieces of wood are cut to make the design, and that it is filled with coloured resin. The detail : Nicholas Stout looks very much like Jimmy McCulloch (from the Wings). 😁

That would be an absolute dream, I would certainly love to do that one day. That kind of achievement has to be earned with absolutely exceptional playing and musicianship. I am not there yet, but I am working as hard as I can to reach to level.

I also loved your guitar and I was impressed that you can play that fast with singlecut. I'm a Les Paul/SG player and been playing for 6 years, still struggling with solos that are in fast tempos. How did you build that speed, and how long have you been playing?
@DanteFrisiello Жыл бұрын
@@jimmytheguitarist1462 thank you! Believe it or not, the single cut design of the Larada actually helps you play fast above the 12th fret, because it puts your thumb into a more technically efficient and correct position. Your thumb is supported by the extra wood. I have been playing for 17 years, I started when I was 13. If you want to build speed, you have to invest yourself in dexterity exercises and practice that involves playing fast. You have to play fast if you want to get fast, doing things slow is great but once you get the movement under your fingers, you need to try and go faster and faster. If you want educational resources, check out, Guthrie Govan’s book, creative guitar, one and two, I still spend time in the first one which is for beginners. You can never overlook the basics. I also recommend John Petrucci’s DVD rock discipline for a ton of speed exercises
