Great inside scoop sounds like a memorable experience, I met you at the end of the king crimson show 9/28 . I told you that you look like you lol , also I did catch you guys at the Satriani Vai tour in Orlando in which I live back in March . Which explains why I was so tired in the Clearwater gig I watched Beat 2 nights in row . Thanks for admitting you are Donte , keep us posted what your up to with and without steve in your own 😢project and others bands and project .

Dingwalls are great. Got and NG3 and a defretted Combustion. These are such great basses that I had to order 2 customs 😅First one will come next year 🎉Met Sheldon a couple of months ago, he's a really cool guy. I'm envious, I'd love to take a tour of the factory myself. Only "been there" via video call 😸

Awesome story @Dante. Without his usual gear, like the sustainer, how did Steve pull off a track like Building the Church?

When you COULD play the crazy arps in the back, do weird musical stuff with it, but realize it’s more fun to actually play with your instrument…

Nice playing! Man wish I don't be in doubt whether I should use pinky on some licks, especially 12th-15th fret, :D. Sometimes I don't know If I should keep practicing with pinky on fast licks, when I am a bit faster with ring finger there... At the same time, I still want to improve the pinky....... Very complicated situation :D hahah for me....

Hey Dante, thanks for the content. Any advice for a 19 year old guitar player of 5 years looking to get himself out there as an available asset in the music world?
@DanteFrisiello6 ай бұрын
You might consider: 1. Continuing education - find more teachers and mentors who can expand your playing. If you don’t know any theory, I’d recommend learning at least the basics (I always recommend “Music Theory from Beginner to Expert” by Nicolas Carter). 2. Go to as many jams and local music scene events as possible. Make friends and join as many bands and cover bands as you can possibly take on, in any and all genres. I learned more playing in bands than anything - folk, hip hop, funk, pop, all bands I played in. Helped me cover lots of musical real estate, make friends and meet people locally all at once. 3. Spending consistent time on composition. Sing Melody over chords you’ve written and write it out in midi as you sing. No guitar in hands. This will help you connect and develop your sense of melody, then learn it on guitar after it’s written out in midi

Your super awesome dude. I wanted to ask you because I thought you might answer. I asked Steve vai to play for the love of god in Salina Kansas and he said they didn’t have it set up for something like that but has he talked about me at all or anything like that😂. I know I’m kind of missing the entire point of this video though but has he😂😂

Wir haben gestern Abend vor dem Minimarkt einen geschrieben. Morris nannte es „Stuart Drives A Comfort Car“ und dann steht, wie in Country-Songs, in Klammern „There's Normalerweise Someone in the Trunk“. Und, und ähm, ich habe mir eine Melodie ausgedacht, die einfach nur summt.
