Robins are quite bold little birds .They are always hanging around when I am out working in the garden ,unlike other birds who take fright and fly away
@khanaokami3603 жыл бұрын
They are exploiting your work for the worms in the ground u are disturbing. That's why. Theyv evolved to follow large animals like boars who dig up the ground.
@NoBaconForYou2 жыл бұрын
I think it's because they are good at running. Other little birds hop around and are awkward on the ground, but robins have this tiny and adorable gait where they walk and run one step at a time, so they're quite agile on the ground. They also seem fairly intelligent. Idk I just love robins. They lean forward like tiny little dinosaurs whenever they run.
@theotheseaeagle Жыл бұрын
@@NoBaconForYou not necessarily, the reason robins are so tame (at least in Britain) is because they associate humans with food. Often they will sit around when somebody is gardening to pick up any earthworms they dig up. This is not the case on continental Europe as people in continental europe kill robins for sport, so they have learnt to be wary of humans. Unlike in Britain where the killing of small songbirds is not practiced.
@kylesanders9 Жыл бұрын
They are called Gardener’s Friend for a reason. They know no matter what we are doing in the garden, there will be a treat. Robins also know the majority of humans won’t harm them or indeed eat them! They do have predators of course and I bet they are confused as to why we, so caring in the face of it, allow a cat to come take over our home and we become their staff! 😂😂😂 Basically nurturing an animal that would eat them!

@@TheRealMaturecheese perhaps but European robins in Britain are known to show little fear of humans here because we feed them and they know we aren’t dangerous here (unlike in continental Europe where people shoot and trap them for sport). Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. It's not about following the law - perfectly, as it's impossible - it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and ask Him to help us in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER If you have any questions let me know Xx

We carefully placed it on the washing trolley in the sunlight. After a while, it flew off. But curiously, a KING PARROT had been watching us, and came to inspect the spot when Crimson Rosella had originally fallen, then he perched on the trolley to inspect it, and then decided he wanted to be friends. He would come every day, and be fed by hand, get a rub on his front (and how lovingly he would look at us!), and would even come indoors to look for the bag of birdseed. Weirdest thing..I was going .."Now you're too cheeky for your own good mate!". I had one visit me one year, tame as anything and would buzz around me, fly into the greenhouse and not leave my side. I tend to agree. I've been close to robins for many years, and I've never seen one behave like this unless there's something wrong.

I did the same exact thing one time (bird on a chair) in Kona at a hotel facing the beach 2011. Took me 5 years to find out the type of bird. It was a juvenile java sparrow/ java finch. Cutest thing ever and a very rare experience to approach, pick up, and pet a bird like that! When we had to go 5 minutes later, I set it back on the chair and it flew down to the railing. So it was totally ok. Knew I wasn’t a threat. Animals know! I’ll bet you will always remember that til you’re 100!❤❤❤😊

the robins eyes were closing... quick search and ill birds close their eyes. also they took a shit when the human grabbed them.. must have been shit scared... gentle though you were with the bird.

@Seven Ellen I've taken care of birds that have hit windows, and that is exactly how they were acting. Not all of them pant. if the robin was fully conscious and well, it would have also been moving its head around a lot more, considering how birds cannot move their eyes and have to turn their head to look somewhere, plus a robin is prey to a number of animals, so they need to constantly be aware of their surroundings. plus in the background you can hear the alarm calls of other robins who can obviously tell when a member of their own species is in distress.

I have always found robbed to be quite brave and bold little birdies and growing up. I have always loved watching them fly through the windows when I was a kid We would live in Connecticut, and I would always watch a few Robins in the backyard. They're always whistling, chirping, enjoying themselves, flying among their friends They are adorable and quite clever. This was very nice of the little Robin to let him pet him. Or if it's a girl who knows this bird is very adorable.

It's a european robin in the video (unrelated to american robins) but all small birds deserve recognition beyond just song/appearance

The connectedness of all life on our planet is a joy to behold. Wouldn't like to prove it with an alligator though! These are fabulous videos and an antidote to all the doom and gloom some of the media like to bombard us with on a daily basis!

Lovely to see but not all humans are this kind and so I like animals to be wary of them but can still share our space too. Adore robins

He liked your touch, eyes closing in mmmm. I guess they don't get touched much. Sometimes human hands aren't good for feathers which have wax to make them water resistant and our oild can interfere with that, but this little fellow enjoyed your hugs. Well done for being so gentle. When you went to hold him though, he was a big bit 'hang on, don't squeeze me' and hopped onto your finger, clever fellow ❤️ 😁

I gather this little beauty has been helped before by humans and had become tame. Once recovered it must have followed natures way but not forgotten the kindness of certain humans. There's no stress to be detected, even when you pick the little one up. It just as easily "takes place" sitting on your finger !! A lovely thing to see. 👍. God bless 💝 you and your extended ones. And be sure to have a nice day 💐. Sincerely in Christ Jesus,
