Hahaha I was the one who sent in the seki edge, it was back in 2014. What sparked me sending it was that Jeff made a video of how to disassemble and sharpen nail clippers. Glad you are enjoying it!!

@@cutlerylover You're welcome! Stuff like this is why I love your channel, the most random videos along with all the cool knives and gear. At the time I had the clippers for only about 2 weeks and by chance you made a video out about nail clippers. At that point I had to send you a pair to get the word out about how good these were! Hahahah I sent over the heavy duty stainless steel toenail clippers your way just now. Keep up the great content Jeff!

Found these after seeing your old video about them, and the difference between these and normal nail clippers is insane. I’m a guitarist so I cut my nails as short as I can and these make it so much easier!

Hi Jeff, I ordered these from Amazon and just came in today. They are awesome! Definitely the sharpest clippers that I have ever used and feels good in hand. I waited until they came in before I trimmed my nails, they were over due. Thanks to you I have these clippers now. Keep up the good work on the videos!

My favorite nail clippers are from No-mes. Made in the USA, beefy and robust, and they also make a very clean cut AND catch the clippings like these do. Underneath the bar, there's a metal hatch that opens so you can dump out the clippings. I keep them in my Altoids tin EDC kit. Had I known about these I probably would've also given them a try. In fact, I still might. You can never go wrong with Japanese steel.

Nail clippers are extremely valuable to have and can be an important EDC item, everyone has to trim their nails from time to time. You don't wanna be out camping, traveling orwhatever else and have long nails then crack/break a nail cause ya didn't trim them. That can lead to a world of pain/discomfort or even an infection if out in the wild.
@cutlerylover4 жыл бұрын
yes plsu all the other uses as well to clip a loose string off a shirt or for fishing line :) in a pinch you can use them to cut zipties too...

I just use the typical nail clippers. Then a diamond file for finishing. Seems to work fine for me. If there is dirt under my fingernails, I use a very small pen knife from imperial cutlery. The other actually useful blade snapped off from use before me. Got it for free, so it’s a good use for any useless knives anyone has laying around. I keep it dull.

Asian nail clippers are the best. I had some Korean ones that I absolutely LOVED but lost while moving around and I didn't remember the brand or even where I got it. I'm going to look into these Japanese ones. I've seen them online previously but wasn't sure if they were really as good as people claimed. I really trust this channel though so definitely going to check them out. Thanks for the vid Jeff 👍 been watching for years and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

This is so weird Jeff. I JUST found these and bought them on Amazon. Like an hour ago. Except I got the ones that go straight across instead of curved, because whenever I try to use curved clippers to cut a hangnail or something else I always end up cutting another part of my finger I'm not looking at because the face is curved. Anyway, good coincidental day!
