I appreciate your way of teaching. Natural phase & positioning of body, arms & holding of scissors are clear. God bless!

Thank you so much for this very detailed class on this haircut, I'm a hair stylist with 2 years of experience and always struggle a lot with the gradation part of the A line bob but this video and many others on your channel have helped me a lot getting better with my cutting skills. Please keep bringing us awesome video classes and I would like to see some videos on foil placement for different effects.

Thank goodness I found this. I definitely subscribed!!!! I have been a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician for 15 years now (licensed in America). My problem is I was hired at a top spa that handled lots of celebrity clients to do facials and makeup. So my hair skills went soft. I now freelance in Australia and really need to re-educate myself more with regards to hair and your channel is perfect for me. Thank you so much! Cheers mate!

Thanks for the tips on scissor holding. I'm a lefty but I had trouble with body position when working vertical sections. But now I tried to hold the scissor like you did and it felt so much comfortable already. Thanks for these videos they really help. Not just for students in hair school.

I'm an old hair dresser and only know one way of holding the scissors. Thank you for showing how to hold it by switching your thumb but I think it's hard to teach an old dog a new trick now haha but I'm really gonna try. You are very thorough showing how to cut hair. Thank you

We don't have to look at Matt during cutting. In part of film, they filmed upper half of head instead of all of the head. Explanations are excellent, as usual. Matt ... You are an excellent teacher. Thank you.

I'm a novice. Dumb question. Are those one time use mannequins? Are they expensive? Love your styles.

Matt: Great cut, I love how you worked the back. I do wonder how many women want to use that much hairspray to keep it off the face? Is it too heavy in the front? Also, I'd love to see haircuts and styling for center-part looks. Thanks for all you do!

Wow! What a beautiful cut. Great job! I've recently subscribed to your channel and your videos are the best i have found to watch and learn from. You are an outstanding stylist. Very professional as well. I did want to ask you a question about graduated hair cuts and graduation used in Bob and stacked bob haircuts. My question is this, when you cut hair to have graduation, do you always hold the hair out at a 45 degree angle, or is it your finger position is at a 45 degrees? And is there a difference in what you do for a graduated bob, versus a stacked graduated bob? Thanks so much for all the educational videos. They help tremendously.. I hope you are able to answer the questions I had, as to clear up the confusion I'm having with this, and maybe others might be as well.. Thanks so much, Matt.

Hi matt, I have a problem, I am a lic Cosotologyst for 38 yrs, I am retired now and decided to start cutting hair at my house to supplement my income, I have watched all your videos to refresh and learn new techniques, I tried doing this aparticular a-line bob and got lost in the back with the angles, anyway, my question and concern is that I dont want to loose my client and although I handled it best as possible, how can I correct, or say to this client without loosing her, hair length was supposed to be longer but because I had to go back and do hairline it came right tothe nape, she was not happy and I am not happy , she also has very gappy thin hair and I tried to leave longer on sides. what can i do to keep this client even though i said to come back if something is not to her liking...PS I just heard u giving away flat iron, I dont have one, what is the chance without uploading a video

This was awesome Matt! Thank you! I do have a question though, have you had clients give you a hard time about how long you take? I'm currently in beauty school and I love watching your videos and others like you and you all take your time and it shows but when I try to people seem to get irritable about it what should I say to them? Is it rude to say if you have a time limit I can't be your hairstylist? Thanks in advance!

No entiendo porque muchas gentes hispanos parlantes dicen que ni entienden lo que el dice. Hay muchas palabras que son muy cercanas al español solo es la pronunciación la que la hace escuchar estraño. Texture= testura. consistency = concistencia. Elevation= elevación angle= angulo y muchas palabras mas😊

I would LOVE to purchase a set of mizutani shears one day! I've reviewed your videos about your favorites and what you own, but I am a recent cosmetology school graduate and new to the industry. I am assisting at the moment but when I am finally ready to do services on the floor, what do you recommend for someone like me? I know it's all about personal preference but I figured, I would take your advice. Price is not an issue for me, as I think the main goal is to learn and be comfortable with whatever shears I use (not based on experience). My school gave us 5.5" Washi shears. Not sure where to go from there. I would love to have regular shears, dry cutting, and texturizing/thinning shears at least! Razors/carving comb may come later... what do you recommend? I need help!
