I was up against it on this one. I was brought in to clean up this slippery paving at St John's College, Chapel Court, Cambridge, but with loads of cleaning to get done, and with very little time to do it, meaning no breaks and no time to stop even for a quick cuppa, did I succeed? Visitors and students should be awestruck when they see thee scrubbed cleaned courtyard. Cleaning the pebble pavers (LOL) was a great decision for continuity, and shows your work ethic.

They picked the right person for the job. I'm at 4:54 and it is obvious how well this is turning out and how badly the stone areas also needed cleaning. Pleased to see the drains were working well. Started mumbling a little when I noted some Black Spot, I''m guessing they went too long between cleaning times. Very glad you were able to use the XJet. You really hustled, the algae is gone, Black Spot in retreat and you said the remaining retaining walls will be looking good shortly. Nice work.

Hi Robert, thanks so much for the detailed insight. Yes, was a little worried about the drains, but like you noted, they were working perfectly, so a huge relief on that front. Was a shame about the walls for the final shot, but unfortunately they just needed a bit of time for the biocide to do it's thing. Thanks again as always, Nick.

It was a huge undertaking to begin with, but in typical Nick fashion, you went for a higher level, making it a ginormous undertaking! You easily doubled that job and with a time limit in place! Brilliant results mate and, typically, you went the extra mile to ensure the whole job was completed, not just the bits they'd asked for - that'd all look great when it was fully dried! Hey mate, thanks very much bud. It's hard to say without seeing the paving, but if it's a 10 litre bucket, you'd want at least 1/4 hypo then top up with water, if the spots are stubborn, go 50/50, if they're an absolute nightmare go neat. 👍

Honestly its probably a good thing you cleaned everything. Think of how fast the algae would return if you left all the nooks and crannies in those pebbles uncleaned and full of biofilm thats just waiting to start spreading again with the next rain.
