Start out with scene hair that's way more "toned down". Don't ask to dye your hair any colors, unless it already is dyed. Explain why you want it, and give *solid* reasons. Remember to say "It would make me very happy to have it!". Remember to mention that, afterall, it is hair, so it grows out eventually. Give reasons besides "I just want it". Ask often, but not excessively. Hint at it. Make sure your guardian notices you watching videos of people with scene/emo hair. Look at pictures often. Your guardian will notice your dedication.
