I like that design for an inline. Ive never seen one here in Wisconsin. I would buy it if i did.

looks like you are set for Mosquito repellent out at camp. We don't have a huge problem with them out here like we used to, I believe that the state does areal spraying of them if they get thick. anyway, that rifle fits the bill for basic hunting and you could always use it as trading stock. peace out - Dave

the mosquitos are pretty thick up the camp lol. hope the guns a keeper if it shoot as good as the bore looks :)

I'll be interesting to see how it does. We need more BP rifles like this to become available; simple, light - no goofy fake engraving, gaudy brass or camo stocks. I say bring back the under hammer too!
@GungeekАй бұрын
I agree but i think lots of folks just want them for the special seasons and go with the very practical but very ugly modern inlines lol :)
@emilychippie2771Ай бұрын
@@Gungeek Special season hunter = freezer full of pepperttes.🤣 My idea of an ideal BP rifle is late flintlock English Sporting Rifle. Doesn't need to be fancy, just well proportioned stock etc. 7lbs or less. Keyed barrel so it's convenient to clean. I bought a bunch of parts from TOW to make one - found out straightening out the replica locks are as much work as making the whole gun and I got lazy so my project stalled. So a rifle like the your Blazer is refreshing to see. Wish they were still making them or equivalent. 👍

should be okay, not sure of the trigger and offhand tho.

A walk around hunting rifle with a heavy trigger pull shouldn't be a problem for the Great GunGeek. ... A nice fixed up rifle that looks great.
@GungeekАй бұрын
@@JohnSmith-hm7eh true the trigger is probably better than most mosins :)
@JohnSmith-hm7ehАй бұрын
True, but a man in the Far North wishing to make a bayonet charge on a sleuth of Polar Bears would be wise to use the Mosin! ... The Russians full of Vodka probably did that in the old days. .... In the early days, the Vaqueros in California use to put out a bear bait, then enjoy the sport of lassoing Grizzly Bears.
