Wow!! Definitely CX90 look much better, more luxurious, but both are excellent vehicles

I wonder what power would 3.3 I6 get without turbo ? 280hp seems like NA power from 3.3l , I know it gets torque to 330lb.ft. and that could from turbo but this 280hp/330lbft feels like waste of turbo... it should be offered with non turbo 3.3l as base engine and instead of turbo it should get some electric torque added 😉 just no CVT or eCVT nonsense please .

My wife is getting the cx9. The cx90 just arrived this week to my country but it cost 15k more and I really don’t feel is worth it. Great video!

Thanks guys I have 2021 cx9 Kuro (carbon in the USA) my lease is up and buy out is 35000 CAD….been debating the cx90 turbo S. But have decided to keep mine. @@GQ37official

CX-9 exterior despite it's age still looks much better than CX-90 I love my CX-9 2022. But as for chassis and platform CX-90 is progress to previous one :)

Nice comparison. Last year I bought a CX9 Carbon Edition and I am loving it. I was going to wait for the CX90 until I saw the photos of it. I also like the front and rear of the cx9 much better. I do wish the CX9 had a six cylinder engine though. This is my first turbo 4 cylinder and it is a nice engine but always prefer the sounds of a six or eight cylinder. I also own an Infiniti Q50 Redsport and previously owned a G37.

Right on! Totally agree 💯. The Cx-9 has it in the looks dept, but the online 6 definitely sounds better. Love the G37s. I had a sedan and then sold it and got the coupe which is what started this channel years ago. Currently have a z I've been fixing up here on a channel (my 3rd 350z) though I've been eyeballing the q60 red sports since they're such a good value used. How do you like your Q50RS?

@@GQ37official I miss my G37 sedan. The Q50 isn’t as engaging as the G37 and is more of a Grand Touring type of sedan. I played with a couple of exhaust for the Q as it was missing that VQ sound from the G series. I finally think I got it dialed in with a Fast Intentions cat back exhaust. Honestly though…I’ve been enjoying the drive on the CX9 more these days. Btw…love the FX35 you have. Always wanted one of those.

@@javtheautoenthusiast6418 that confirms a lot of what I've heard about the q50 /q60 platform, especially the steering feel or lack of. Loved my G37, but needed a bigger vehicle to haul my music equipment without stealing my wife's cx-9 all the time haha. (Hints the FX/QX in the garage) after I paid that off I bought a cheap 350z to fill the void left my my G....but fixing everything thsy was wront with it proved to be not so cheap 😂 I think I've yot it dialed in now though. Love the vq sound, I even have a 370z nismo exhaust on my QX/FX the vr30 definitely doesn't sound as good stock (thr new z sounds pitiful from thr factory) but with the right amount of exhaust mods it wakes up. I've heard some clips of the fast intentions and that's a good set up👌 And I'm with you on the Cx-9. It's my wife's car primarily, but every time I get in it I'm impressed.

I really like the Interior of the CX-90 but just can’t get over the back of it. It looks way too much like a mini van.

Yep, a LOT of folks see that. Beautiful design, but the ball was fumbled on the rear design.

I think the cx9 is better because after watching the car care nut cx90 review I'm not sure if the cx90 will be reliable cx90 is over-enginereed

I love the Tukami interior of the CX-90, along with a great performance engine, centre console and overall look. I however prefer the CX-9 exterior look in general. We got a 2022 model with 19k km just because it was so much more cost effective than a new CX-90. Maybe trade in for a second hand in a few years later on.

Great review, thanks. I am not liking the middle row bucket seats on the newer models (it started in 2020). I would prefer the bench seat.

I believe it's still an option like it was on the CX-9. There's definitely pros and cons to both. I like the bench for when my kids have a friend over we don't have to flip up the 3rd row.

A few months ago I saw your other video on CX 9 Sig. We bought a 2023 Mazda CPO CX 9 Signature black ext with white nappa leather at 15,600 miles on 15 Mar'24. Loving it for the near 400 miles driven so far. Think the CX 9 is much more pretty and awe inspiring than a CX 90. Luxurious vehicle with so many features. We had no idea before but our 10 year old son loves the console in the second row and is often falling asleep there as I drive with his arms or head resting on it (acting as a pillow)! Very comfortable vehicle and extremely pleased.

Very good review. I traded my 2016 CX-9 AWD for the CX-90 Turbo S Premium Plus and I’m really enjoying the all new platform and features. So nice to get into the car and the infotainment screen recognition says welcome Ray😎 I run 93 grade fuel and the car runs like it’s high on octane.

Hey thanks for chiming in. I bet that is awesome, I look forward to getting behind the wheel of s Turbo S trim, no doubt one can feel that extra 60 hp up from the 280 hp version. I really wish Mazda gave all the models the same performance specs like they did with the Cx-9 where even the base model had the same hp& tq. I'm sure in about 2 years I'll be getting one. Enjoy!!

Oh neat. I've worked at the hospital in Port St Joe since 2010 so definitely familiar with Beacon Hill as well. Great choices on those vehicles, can't go wrong with either. Toyota definitely has quality and holds value, I liked the driving dynamics of the mazdas, but only you can decide what is best for you...from the drivers seat 👍

Beacon Hill is great. Went to the ER at that hospital. My wallet hurt more than my cut thumb. I have some concerns about the CX-90. 3 reviewers have made me pause buying it. I live in an area with curvy roads and I like how the Mazdas drive on them.

My daughter has the 2012 CX-9 and it's amazing. My wife wanted to buy one as well but she was looking at a 2017 and a 2018 model but the 4 cylinder turbo CX-9 just don't have the get up and go that the six cylinder CX-9 has.
