Question? Can cyanotype on glass be used for for decorative windows? Its noticeable that there are numerous tutorials on KZbin on how to do cyanotype on glass, however not a single display of decorative windows with cyanotype on glass. Be it for external or interior windows with cyanotype on glass. Should anyone know if it is possible to use cyanotype on glass for decorative windows please let me know. Thanks.

Cyanotype on glass takes much more time for exposing to sun than paper?
@siddharthkaneria2 жыл бұрын
Exposing time of glass and paper remains same. For glass I always use UV tube lights rather then sun.

I'm actually trying to work out how to make large scale cyanotypes, so they are a mural. Is it totally impossible? Other than to recreate the image on a larger scale digitally or with paint.

What was the point of your negative comment?
@jamesdouglaswhittaker66452 жыл бұрын
Interesting to see and a good result but a bit useless as an instructional programme as it contained no commentary. I would suspect there would need to be some additive to make the chemistry “ stick “ to the very clean glass . It could have been so much more helpful.
