Wow, I never realize that Tibet has such a remarkable landscape like this, some part of the route you rode seems had a different cultural environment from the other main roads which people seem more innocent, are they in 四川？I wonder could you please show me the route you rode and I will really appreciate that!

Hi Alan, 你是中国人吗？all of my routes were in 川藏高原和青藏高原，I usually don't go on main roads but i heard from other travellers that some of the roads you see in this video have already been paved. I did many trips in this region when I lived in 成都. It's one of my favorite parts of Tibet.

+heeouk park sorry for the late reply, I'm cycling in Africa now, not much access. The route is extremely difficul to describe, as I have mainly been off-road in most of the Tibetan plateau. If i ever get the GPS tracks, which are not with me at the moment, I'll be happy to share them with you.

Fantastic travels. I presume that you travelled east from Lhasa, following the Yangtze. We’re you monitored by the Chinese PSB, or did you take steps to evade monitoring along the route? Camping out often I presume. The Tibetan kids are wonderful. [edit] OK, it seems that I got your route reversed. You are heading up onto the high and flat plateau in the snows.

Muchas Gracias! Sí, la música es música de músicos tibetanos. algunas más modernas y otras más tradicionales.. es muy difícil de conseguir si no hablas chino o tibetano,. Yo la conseguí cuando vivía allá. Fijate si usando el Shazam puedes encontrarla.

+omkar brahme Hi Omkar, unfortunately, it is very very difficul to get this music. I got it mostly when I was living in China. I had a lot of Tibetan friends who passed it to me. If I had a good internet connection I'd be happy to upload it to my Dropbox so you can download it, but I'm in Africa and that's nearly impossible. If you can wait a few months, I will be able to.

Awesome. What month it was. And it seems you cycled without a support vehicle. Last i heard that Chinese rule prohibits without one. Is it true?

that was in 2011, sept-oct. The rules change all the time. I lived in China for 6 years, so I kept checking on them
