No tengo auto. Viajo y hago ejercicio en bicicleta en todo tipo de clima. Tengo 4 recetas. ¿Es difícil llenarlos allí? ¡Gracias por compartir! Eres una inspiración!

What about visas? Did you have to plan ahead of your journey about that? 47 Countries that is amazing!
@80lives6 жыл бұрын
You can't plan much in advance as visas have different expire dates depending on the country. So you get them in the country before the one you are going, or two countries before, but not more than that I've been to 88 countries, 36 in Africa, not 47 ;)

Actually, I'm a bit embarrassed for being lazy about the videos. I dedicate them, VERY little time. I focus mostly on photography. The videos are fun but they drain my energies badly! That's why I do them as quickly as possible. That being said, I'm becoming more fond of video editing

@oliverjackson50707 жыл бұрын
There were a few countries you skipped. I was wondering why that was :)
@80lives7 жыл бұрын
Yes, there were a few, DRC impossible to get a visa. Liberia and Sierra Leone due also to visa hassles/costs and lack of time. Guinea Bissau ridiculously expensive visa and too out of the way
@80lives7 жыл бұрын
You missed Chad and Tunisia in that list, but I rode across all Burkina Faso and Kenya, they are included in the videos. Of course I'd go back, no question about it, I'm not crazy about all the countries left, but I'd love to ride across DRC and also South Sudan, Niger and Chad. I can live without the others

Hey Nico, i am very curious about 2 things. 1. When crossing the jungles of africa, did you ever cross with dangerous wild animals? I read somewhere in a post of yours that gorilas are harmless, but what about jaguars and deadly insects? How do you deal with them? 2. In your travels, is your goal to go from A to B, using natural roads, or you ask around for the nice roads so you can complete them, and if you have to, return back to complete other nice roads. Last year I began bike-touring, to start, I decided to travel around 3000km in Spain, it has so beautiful landscapes, i feel i missed lots of nice roads because you can only take one from A to B. IG: @lois_bike Thanks, have safe rides!
@80lives7 жыл бұрын
Luís PL hey Luis! Do you speak Spanish or should I reply in English?
@lois33567 жыл бұрын
Nicolás Marino yes I speak Spanish! But I write much faster in english.
@lois33567 жыл бұрын
But maybe in english would be better, so more people could understand. ;-)
@80lives7 жыл бұрын
Oh no problem. Because you write it "Luis" I thought you didn't know I was a Spanish speaker. The answer to one is yes, there are zillions of animals and insects. There is simply no easy answer. On the one hand, you have to deal with everything and get used to it. There is no other way. On the other hand, when it comes to dangerous bugs and animals, you have to learn a lot about the behaviour of all of them. THis is your only way to "protect" yourself. 2- I ride the roads that I am interested in. The ones that take me across the places I don't want to miss. I find them mostly by asking local people and find my way alone.
