Anyone who is interested in understanding what steppe is must watch this video. No rubbish commentary, beautifully exposed steppes. Understandably each and everything without any commentary. Lush green plain land on such a high altitude, amazing.

Hi Nicolas, I read your blog and saw your videos, what you did is really amazing. I plan to do a bike tour as well, from France to Mongolia. I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the place at 12:30 , by the lake?With the music and the landscape it was so beautiful it almost made me cry!Such a wonderful area, i can't believe that kind of place exists on earth. If you could tell me, I would be so grateful; I can't cross Mongolia without seeing it, even if there's probably other beautiful places! Anyway, congratulations and keep up the beautiful pictures and videos!!!

hi there , great footage here , we are planning a similar journey and i have a technical question . Did you have 26 or 700 rims ? they look larger than 26?? thanks in advance
@80lives9 жыл бұрын
+Claire Millar Hi Clarie, we managed it with 700 cc, but I don't recommend it at all if you go truly of road like I always do. That was an exception because we had been given those bicycles for a test drive. The 700 cc was a true pain in the ass most of the way. But if you don't go to extremes like I do, then you'll be fine

@80lives7 жыл бұрын
thanks man! Your budget depends on several factors but mostly on your standards and how much paid comforts you want. You can spend as little or as much as you want. I've always been a rock-bottom traveler. I spend about 7-8 USD a day on average, 10 in some countries and 5 or less in others. But not many people are like this, but I have more than enough and feel privileged to live like this.

@80lives7 жыл бұрын

Nicolás Marino no you are not, this is by far one of the best movies, i watch alot of movies people make when traveling, for me thats the best way to see how it is. your camera has sutch a great quallity, what is it, are you traveling with pro setup? im planning myself a trip tru mongolia and i wo der, from where to where did you drive within mongolia (included the other video), and how was it to find food and water during your trip, its a bit a concern for me, special on cobi. for me its also a question from where to where i want to go, i love to cross from west to east, but if you fly in you ended in the middle, if you arive from kazachstan the only road includes russia what is a bit of a problem, also kazachstan is so big and so stretched out its craze, im only planning on 5 to 6 months so its easier to fly to asia and start paddling there instead of losing months starting in western europe what is boring as fuck to paddle. i love your videos and i hope you post more and more, keep up the good work! and tips and tricks always welcome!
