Oh my what a fantastic film of your adventures! I cycle tour but nothing like you guys. I have been to Indonesia and Borneo but not cycling. They are such beautiful countries. It is so sad where the jungle has been destroyed and animals slaughtered for massive palm oil plantations which only have rats and snakes in them. Please keep making your films. They are so well done and inspirational.

@80lives7 жыл бұрын
muchas gracias Luis!.

Hands down, your guys are the DEAL! 1) What was the trigger for you to start this adventure and not delay it like most people would do, myself included? I dream to do that but I also dream to run a successful business, and I feel I'd enjoy more the first if I already achieved the 2nd (which I'm still far from). 2) What is the brand of your bike and bag, and total amount spent on gear before starting the journey? Thks Nico, keep pedaling!!

Awesome trip - and awesome video! Can you tell me how much money you spend altogether during this one year? Did you sleep in tent most of the nights?
@80lives8 жыл бұрын
+Morten Nielsen I don't know the exact figure, but it should be around 10 usd a day, including everything....traveling, sleeping, eating, the boats between the islands, etc.... Sleeping depends....sometimes in the tent, many times invited by local people or in any place they let you sleep...it varies from country to country, but paying for accomodation is usually the very last resort. Consider, that for me, traveling with little money is a way of life. I don't look for any luxuries at all other than the very act of traveling the world. I tell you this, because most people could never survive with a budget like this, because they need more comfort or indulge themselves in a lot more things that I couldn't care less about.

Awesome :-)

Awesome adventures, and thank you for sharing them! What blows my mind though, well, 2 things. First, that someone gave this a thumbs down. To that person 'But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.' Second, that you have a beautiful woman WILLING to go with you. That's almost as amazing as the trip itself! :D Safe travels.
