I wish more emphasis was put on how important vision zero is for minors and other non-drivers. Cities often seem to frame this as a "cyclist" issue, when it really is a mobility issue for those who can't drive. And it will really free parents up when you no longer have to drive your kids all over the place because the streets are unsafe.

💯 agree with this!!! Most of the "cyclists" I see traveling year round in my small Indiana city are pre-driving age teens. We need to keep them safe and give them freedom of mobility!
