How much are these with shipping to the UK? I hear about these products a lot Adventure Rider Radio. This looks like a serious bit of kit. Great video. Many thanks. 👍🏻

I love it. Fabulous upgrade over stock H4. Installed one on a 1994 BMW R 1100 RS and another is going on my 1974 BMW R 75/6 restoration project.

What a wonderful how-to video, David - very clear explanation, step-by-step instructions, good production, tips, estimated job time, and I like that you list the tools needed for the job. The only way it could’ve potentially been better is if you’d done a before and after comparison, even though it’s very clear the LED’s output is far superior. Liked and subscribed!

Have you tried the new LED headlight for these bikes yet? I just did a review of mine... mixed results.

I don't sell Cyclops any longer. Semi-retired now, needed to cut my offerings and reduce workload. Contact Cyclops directly.

FYI, a driver can get hot too. You might want to think where and how you secure it in place...
@bestrestproducts6486 жыл бұрын
Helonaut SR - there aren't many options for placing the driver. Small black box. For the low beam it fits behind the cap, tucked between the outer and inner housings. It will get some cooling benefits from the fan on the back of the bulb. For the high beam the driver is mounted outside the cap. It's cooled by ambient airflow. In any case I've NEVER heard of any damage to the bike (caused by the driver or the LED bulb), and I've only heard of one driver that failed. And that was not heat related. On the other hand there are many reports of headlight housing damage caused from the heat generated by stock halogen bulbs.

Doesn’t it get any water in, because of the fan?
@bestrestproducts6483 жыл бұрын
The rubber boot seals against the body of the bulb that fits in side the headlight assembly. The fan external, but there's no passage for water to go past the body of the bulb. So the Cyclops light is as waterproof as one could expect. The rubber boot creates a waterproof seal.

Just installed on my 2014 g650gs, awsome light, it really is great. But on the other side, the blue light on my cluster for the high beam stopped working. When I turn the key on, it blinks as supposed but when I turn on the high beam it doesnt work, Any ideas? Is this normal?
@bestrestproducts6483 жыл бұрын
@@rodrigopaz4564 so the high beam IS working, but the instrument indicator ISN'T? Confirm. Never heard of that happening.

@@bestrestproducts648 that’s correct, At first it blinked twice, then stopped working.

the thin one

@@ataxilda early versions had spacers. Later production did away with the spacers because of a redesign, making the spacers obsolete

Trying to figure out if my g650gs has a bad bulb since low beam doesn't work but high beam does. But it looks like low beam and high beam share the same bulb? Whats the small bulb for, parking light?
@HidalgoRides4 жыл бұрын
Your bike has an h4 bulb. It contains both high beam and low beam filaments. If you're not getting any low beam that means the bulb is bad. There's also a tiny bulb in the headlight housing. That's a parking light and has no useful purpose.

Don't waste your money. I have the exact same bike than in the video. G650GS. I purchased it, installed it, thinkinf it would get me more light on the road at night. It gets more light everywhere else than on the road. Total waste of money. If someone wants mine I can sell it to you.
@bestrestproducts6485 жыл бұрын
Giles - you obviously didn't watch the entire video, or read all the instructions in the box. If your beam pattern doesn't project the way you want it, that's because you didn't use the included spacers. They adjust the location of the LED emitters forward or rearward, in relation to the focal point of the headlight housing reflectors. We discuss that in the video. Your situation is a clear case improper installation. And user error. Am I picking on you or calling you stupid? No, but I am calling you out for not knowing what your talking about.
@ItsOnlyFil5 жыл бұрын
@@bestrestproducts648 There was no spacers included. Feel free to send me some if you wish, I can try again.
