CZ 457 varmint. Speed and Greed. I fail horribly but have a blast trying!!!

These are in my opinion the finest and most fun steel targets made. The quality, craftsmanship and customer service is second to none. I have owned and shot them for about 2 years now and there is not a blemish or bit of wear on them.
My rifle is a CZ457 with a Bushnell Match Pro scope, Area 419 30 moa cz457 scope base., Vortex Pro rings., Boyd’s AT one stock., Timney CZ457 trigger, Eric Cortina ec2 tuner, Anarchy Outdoors extended magazine release, Atlas bipod. Shot with RWS Rifle match ammo lot # 56RQ42. Rear support bag is an Armageddon pint sized game changer I also use a schmedium mid size game changer. I've seen this target, looks like good fun. Just picked up a 457 a couple days ago. Getting it setup to replace the Rem 580 I've been using for local comps. I learned to shoot with that Remington, 50 years ago, but she struggles to hold an MOA group at 100yrds. Hopefully this beautiful CZ will work out.

@@fairviewprecision Thank you sir, I will. I've been shooting/hunting all my life, but just got into this precision rimfire thing maybe a year ago. It's amazing what I've learned about rimfire accuracy in that time.

I hear you on the precision thing. Sounds like you and I are around the same age and have similar backgrounds as far as shooting/hunting. I was handed a gun at a very young age to put food on the table, it was such a natural thing where I grew up! The life lessons of how to respect shooting and hunting, to me, are invaluable. I really didn’t get into precision shooting heavily until the pandemic. I literally returned to my roots and the only outdoor exercise was shooting and enjoying the challenge of pushing the boundaries of accuracy. I never thought what I do now was possible or as much fun as it has become! I’m here to learn and share my experience and I welcome you to do the same! Feel free to teach me what you know as you have lots to share I would think! Heck! Go get a gopro and start a KZbin channel! I’d love to see it!! 😃

@@fairviewprecision Oh, the good ole days, when Grandma would yell, "You boys go kill whatever you want for supper!", Lol. These days it's mostly hunting steel silhouette targets at the range. I've always enjoyed long range shooting, whether it's rimfire at 100yrds or centerfire at a thousand. Centerfire has gotten too expensive, so I've gotten into the rimfire a little more. I'm really enjoying the .22, and squeezing all the accuracy I can out of it. It started about a year ago, when a friend of mine invited me to shoot a rimfire silhouette match that his gun club has. I grabbed one of my favorite squirrel hunting rifles, and I was hooked. I could hold my own with the old Remington, but when the local range sponsored a "Golf Ball Challenge", the interest in accuracy turned into a passion. Although I managed to tie for second in that challenge, I ordered the CZ 457 about a week later, Lol. I hit the range for the first time with the CZ yesterday. I was happy with it's performance, out of the box, and even happier to find it seems to like the SK Rifle Match and the sorted CCI SV I have been shooting out of the Remington. Now that I've confirmed the CZ functions as it should, out of the box, it's rabbit hole time. 😁
