Michael Swenson Any outdoor store that sells canoes or kayaks should carry them. If you live in Canada, try MEC. The heavy-duty styrofoam blocks are used for carrying a small boat on the roof of a car. You put them on the gunwales so that the paint does not get scratched.

Terry Smith ! I'm taking your idea and attaching it to a u.s. military molle frame pack with an aluminum frame that will attach to your yoke concept. Basically it's your yak yoke + a new school "knupac" for an upcoming trip to the BWCA in MN.
