You completely missed Baal in normal can drop the item at a pretty good chance too. 1\300 for quest kill, 1\454 for non quest kill. The highest chance non quest kill on the list. That would be the best bet for finding this item honestly.

Oh, I enchanted a throw barb using these and let me tell you he almost lost his shit on how high his ar was raised. Level 37 enchant. I was just being a Enchantress for hire I'm certain the ar on the weapon has a huge play in the ar he had

Don't know if they are bugged, but the quantity went to 1 when you upgraded them. And the quantity did not replenish while you were showing them.

If you replenish at the smith it will work again, but whats the case with the eth one? Now i dont know what do with my eth(cant replenish). Maybe if i quit and enter it works again. Who knowes

Aye if you collect throwing items as you level you will find it pretty easy to obtain enough to make a decent throw barb

@@GGMentor with the pierce effect and double throw knock back, Amp damage, and monster flee have been super fun. Can't help to think that the zon might be "better" but it's just not as satisfying tossing items and watching them go end over end lol

Hey ggm, since I've seen people complaining about leveling throwbarbs,given the scarcity of uniques,and the often prohibitive level requirements on what we do have,along with no throwing runewords ,what would you recommend one do? Gambling with a targeted character level, ex. Being level 56 for a cruel/fools rare? Imbueing ethereal throwing items? I was considering the latter,with a high level character and maybe even playing with the soj reroll recipe. I've never seen anyone go for gg rare throwing weapons, though the new throwbarb might create that market. What would the perfect rare throwing weapon look like? It's too bad they cant be socketed with lo runes,certainly holds them back. Also thinking about using the blood recipe on eth blue elite throwing axes. God what a headache lol

Any throwing weapon works and they drop all the time. Javelins, throwing Axes, and Throwing Daggers drop all the time like everywhere. You usually end up having a handful of them before you reach lvl 30 of all different grades. A GG Rare Throwing item is a definite possibility now because Eth will replenish even without replenishment. So something like a Rare Cruel Elite Ethereal Throwing item is gonna be going for a premium. A Perfect Rare Throwing item would of course be Ethereal, and most likely have the Cruel Modifier, and Amplify damage proc, along with dual leech, and perhaps a fools mod. Throwing items can also spawn with + barbarian skills on them.

I’ve done really well by craftin and edge bow and gambolling throwing weapons as I go. Upped a balanced knife I got that came with 185% Ed, +max damage per level, +AR per level, 5% LS and prevent monster heal, and chance to proc amp damage 🤑And then as luck would have it, death bit dropped for me in NM flayed jungle haha

They buffed the build, but the leveling experience is still atrocious.

I think it's still a thing to test out. Just some gambling and luck can supply you with some decent weapon for levelling

Don't know what you're talking about , recently went through the entire class from lvl 1 to 83 and had no issues leveling

I had a great time leveling mine, just farm gold and gamble throwing weapons

PD2 mod let the projectiles bounce multiple times to other enemies nearby for slash damage. Wish Blizzard did the same.
