🧠? 🤡 They killed out of fear of imminent danger to their lives All 6 expert psychologist world renowned determined that because of years of abuse since the age of 6 that lyle and erik suffered from the "Battered Woman Syndrome" by conclusion then it was of imperfect self-defense. then in the eyes of the law they are victims but not murderers and what they committed is considered self-defense. People suffering from battered woman syndrome after yearsof sexual, physical and psychological violence have such a significant impact on their state of mind that they develop anxiety, a feeling of helplessness and a perception inability to escape the abusive relationship that they can preemptively attack their abusers even when resting, sleeping or to when resting, sleeping or to avoid a situation in which they cannot protect their lives adequately

The prosecutors were very "small minded" about sexual and emotional abuse. Pam B. especially was biased because her father had been abused and joined the Navy at age 18. She never believed that Erik and Lyle were so terrified and broken that they couldn'y leave. Even after the testimonies from top experts on child abuse and the effects of trauma on children and adults said that they believed the boys. Dr. Vicary saw Erik 88 or 100 times before the trial even started. Erik had to be sedated and treated for the effects of Trauma. lyle was seen by Dr. Conte who is another highly regarded expery in the field of childhood trauma. He totally believed their story of being terrified that night. Neither of these men should be in prison still.

Exactly ^ plus “ they were Trying to leave That’s how this whole catastrophe happened..Lyle Told Jose that he’s not touching his brother anymore and that Eric would be going back to Princeton with him ..which then Jose told Lyle He’s not your brother Eric’s my son and he’ll do with him as he pleases! To me that sure does sound like They were” Trying to leave “ (all backed up in their testimonies!!!

Hochman is great. Gascon and most liberal DA’s are HORRIBLE for cities. And I usually lean left., but Not on the soft on crime approach though

If you didn't watch the 1st trial and do any real research you shouldn't be so quick to comment. Please tell me you didn't base your comment on the "Monster" Netflix drama series.

Ya'll at his point-- what does this mean? bc im confused- and.. so-- :-/ ( also- how do you find a path to resentencing ? I just watched the press conference with Hochman- and he doesn't seem so convinced or serious- so.. it may not happen.. i doubt it..( you kinda have to be realistic bc Hochman himself- said that it's not based on the family's decision but his-

They will be released but it will take longer than expected
@Bunnybeebee53114 күн бұрын
They should be resentenced because they were in fact abused very badly. It’s a mitigating factor. It’s not that they not going to prison but sentencing them for life with no parole when they never been violent besides what they did and they will not reoffend again.
