When "The Life of a Party" leaked, it was huge. It wasn't on the album originally but I think Drake famously leaked it thinking it would hurt Kanye but he hurt Andre more. He was disappointed to see how the world was exposed to it first. I will say the song makes me cry. No two ways about it. I lost my mom in 2021 due to cancer. I was 28. It's been real tough as she was a single parent. The only person that truly cared in my family. And now she's gone. No guidance. And I'm not religious or anything but I wish she could hear me. So I pretend she can sometimes, just to have a conversation with that voice of her inside my head. It's sucks. I know what she would say but she isn't here. Hearing Andre speak to Donda asking for his own mother who's also passed away... It hits me... And DMX at the end is also a beautiful moment that just makes me cry. What I would've done for a father like that.... One that was there... Even just sometimes...

You matter bro. I know this type of thing is heavy to write and I wanna tell you I read every word. I wish you the best of luck in life bro. Not saying it is in any kind of objective Top 3, but I love the gospel vibes, Come To Life and Lord I Need You being it's main (beautiful) examples, and less direct on Hurricane. What's opposite of that? Sht like Off The Grid, God Breathes, Junya, Heaven and Hell, hardest stuff ever. And I love everything in between, Jail so addictive, Moon so gorgeous

My first Kanye album experience ever. One of the most special and over hated albums ever. Not perfect but if Kanye condensed the track list from 24+ songs to the strongest 13-15 I think it would be his best work. The gospel and futuristic production sends me into a different dimension. For me it is the most calming album ever and I’ll love it forever

Still his best album lol I cant think of 3 songs that shouldn’t be on Donda
@zachmarostica926410 ай бұрын
@@JohnnySensei7 I would take out remote control, tell the vision, and all the pt2's(or make the pt2's the original song like keep my spirit alive). That would probably make it about 20 songs and it would be by far my favorite album. If you took off tracks like junya, ok ok, and Jonah also I think it would make the album more cohesive imo. not that those are bad tracks but I just don't think they are special and don't add anything to the album which is why its considered "bloated". but I'm not gonna question the greatest artist of all time and I still love the album lol
