I must say between his Horus Heresy one and this... I really dig how GW managed to handle evolution of a Daemon Primarch. His HH model looks like appropriate idealized form of a Daemon Prince. Something Chaos Gods promise you while this one looks entirely evil and corrupt and mutated. Result of living for too long as this monstrosity. Very nicely done by GW. I must say. Applause.

the plain broadsword is Flameblade, made for him by Ferrus Manus. The ornate sword on the model is the 5th cronesword, and the whip is something Fulgrim manifested for himself. The blade of the laer, which people think that sword he's using is, is with Lucius the Eternal. I can see Eidolon taking it from him when the EC get their new models but that sword Fulgrim has is not the blade of the laer.

I like the new model. Having said that its weird why 40k fulgrim has mechanical backpack, while 30k has daemon-body-part like reactor. Missed opportunity: adding a humanoid smaller but cocky Fulfrim pointing with one sword toward enemy. A model like Morathi model for AoS, dont you think?

This one is good because it's plastic, but frankly the HH one is cooler, I'd like to see the wings and tail from waist down from HH on the torso and head of this new one.

Trust me you don't want the wings of the HH model on anything that will ever be used to be played. The HH model is a 11/10 display piece but 0/10 model for the tabletop because the wings *will* break. This one is a 9/10 display and probably 7-9/10 model for the tabletop which is a massive upgrade that I think most HH players will take when they want to play Transfigured Fulgrim
