Just be glad you didn't go down the...goose hole?...I went down to see about testicles. I saw things I want to unsee. Having with labour unions, I propose that the sages ruled it wasn't kosh to yoke two different kinds of animals to the same wagon because each union had very different collective agreements, and it would've taken a whole other "Tractate Igudei Ovdim" (labour unions) to make sure the farmer was following them all. (Yes, I'm taking the "different unions" joke way too far. No, I'm not sorry.) Edit: Derp. I hope you're feeling better, of course! That particular gemara about the fish and the goat hitched to a wagon was featured in an episode of Shtissel. Little kids in a classroom were supposedly studying this. Until I actually saw it in the gemara, I thought it was a creation of cynical Shtissel writers attempting to represent Talmudic studies as ridiculous and irrelevant.

As someone who keeps fish, a harness on a fish would be not only impractical, it would be pretty harmful. Fish have a protective layer on them called a slime coat, and a harness would just be cruel. You may be able to do it with some aquatic mammals though, and they can be trained more easily than fish. (Though I know some fish can be trained. Bettas can do simple tricks. Bettas would be pretty crap at pulling a wagon though. They're tiny.) None of this is very practical though. And there aren't many beaches with water deep enough next to them to have something like an orca swimming alongside a wagon.

Given that ancient cultures rarely distinguished between cetaceans and fish (Aristotle shows they knew the difference, they just considered "fish" to cover all categories), I am inclined to imagine a dolphin. Way easier to imagine yoking a dolphin than a fish. ... easier, yes, but not EASY. Dolphins are slippery.

Perhaps Leviathan, who is sometimes asserted to have sharp, dangerous scales? (This is presumably so God can serve him to the righteous in the World To Come-since obviously the righteous would of course question the kashrut of food served to them even by God)
