This was great, been searching for "quail flight pen size" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Eeyila Rudimentary Expediency - (just google it ) ? It is a smashing exclusive product for discovering how to raise healthy and fertile quail minus the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my co-worker got cool success with it.

Very good your cage system. I am in Brazil and would like to set up a system like this in my home to feed my family. Do you have the cage project? ... it would help a lot, because after the pandemic and the economic situation in the country, I am worried about the lack of food. I appreciate if you can help

Making arrangements to get into quail and plan to order from you. You recommend 5-1 ratio for hens to roosters and it looks like you house them in large groups. I've heard so much about territorial issues and conflicts between birds. On my small scale, should I have separate cages for each group of six birds, or can I have 30 birds in a single cage?
@MyshireFarm Жыл бұрын
No colony breeding is the way to go. 3 quail per sq ft, 5 hens to 1 male and it will be just fine
@GaryGrenell-ff3wo Жыл бұрын
@@MyshireFarm Sorry, what do you mean by "no colony breeding"? I assume colony breeding to mean many birds together with a 5-1 ratio of hens to roos. Was there supposed to be a comma (,) after "No" in your text? Please clarify: smaller cages with 6 birds or a large cage with the above ratio? Thank you.

So your business is hatching eggs? What's your fertility? Based on your 3,000 @ say 75% laying you can gross $1,000+ per day. Can you scale up or are you restricted by your facilities. Your cages look expensive.

You are very nice to show this. But I feel very sorry for your birds. No room to fly around no sunlight. Looks like factory farming. 😢
@SLFYSH6 жыл бұрын
Penny Budinsky Understood. I felt the same until I learned more about them. This species of quail don’t fly around. You could build 60’ ceilings with perches and all kind of greenery, and they’d continue to run around on the floor. This is what they do and how they are kept all over the world. They’re really pretty simplistic in social structure too, requiring much less than many species.
@gavinistheawesomest5 жыл бұрын
Penny Budinsky yep, and the higher the ceiling, the higher the likelihood of broken necks when they get startled

Good night I want to ask, quail always dies in the cage what is the cause and how is the solution thank you
@skiangel39624 жыл бұрын
What do you mean? Quails don’t always die in cages? I mean duh they do They live in them, and when they get old they die, just like people.
@jusmansetiawan99854 жыл бұрын
@@skiangel3962 I mean, in my place, there are often quails that die even if 1 or 2 birds a day. I do not know the cause, there are even times in some areas, half the quail population in the cage can die, such as a virus. what is the normal density of cages for quail, and how to improve quail immunity, if you have an answer, please share?
@skiangel39624 жыл бұрын
jusman setiawan hmm, it seems like they must be unhealthy birds. I will ask for you! Give me a day!
@jusmansetiawan99854 жыл бұрын
@@skiangel3962 I think it's also like that, but I think about how to increase the body's immune in quail so it is not easily attacked by disease.
