Why is it not a picture of him out there? I almost believe he is dead:( His son talk like he is dead. The same with the wife before she changed her word after that. But anyway it's not my case. And i respect that the family will have it like this. Btw, if he lives he can't talk or hear, so i feel bad for him.

The public will likely never see him alive. One day, his family, attorney, or PR person will issue a notice that he passed away, and post-injury MS will be a mystery until his wife, daughter, or son writes a book.

@@SR-kv1ichave some goddamn respect how would you like it if your loved one had an extreme brain injury and never gained the strength to defend themselves or their family for the rest of their hurting life and every day invasive fans wouldn’t leave you alone. Every day hundreds of attempts to contact you via social media and threatening the family for information of his condition. Idk if anyone has threatened the Schumachers but if they gave them something they would go to great measures for more. Just because fans love Michael it doesn’t mean anyone owes anyone anything especially when their trusted friend betrayed them and sold a picture of him bedside. It’d be pretty hard to want to trust humanity again after that and after 10 years you’d think you would give up. The family reached out and said he isn’t the Michael he was and sits by the table for dinner, I thought that would be enough for you neanderthals. Guys I don't think there is much to say. Probably his state is very similar to the one Stephen Hawking was if not worse. So since nobody saw him, he has the chance to be remembered as he looked when he was in his prime and understandably he is taking it. While I would love to know that Michael is showing some signs of continued progression in his rehabilitation, I fully understand and respect his and his family's need to keep things private... for however long they deem necessary. Nevertheless, I wish that I could get a message to him, whether through Sabine, Jean, or his wife or children; and that message would be simply this: _Thank you Michael, for all that you did in Formula One; and as a result of what Formula One allowed you to accomplish outside of racing. You were a true example of how people should be... how to treat our fellow man. My only wish for you now, is that you recover enough to live happily with your family and friends; and that you live every day with a smile and a warm heart, knowing that so msny people around the world are thankful for the gift that you shared with us. You will always be tge greatest F1 driver of all time... You will always be... Michael Schumacher!_

What is worst about brain damage is that it isn't immediate. Like a certain boxer, Michael was awake after the accident but slowly made less sense. I think that is the most frightening thing in the world. To feel as you are loosing what makes us ourselves. Just as the boxer cried out "don't leave me" to his family as he lost consciousness. And now it feels he is no longer the same person. Barely walks. Barely talks. Acts more like a child. It must be so horrible. To be aware enough to know how much of everything zou lost but never be able to gain it back.

He obviously has brain damage. You can look up the condition of people that suffer from this. They're practically children and are barely the person they once were, nothing good would come from showing him in that miserable state but if you really want to know you can look up what brain damage patients are like and i'm sure you'll understand why they're trying not to show him in that light

The vultures in the media should be jailed for harasing them. Yes, we all want to know how he is and want him to recover, but it's a family thing now, not public. The media dont care. To them its just about the money from the story. Leave the family alone until they have something to say.

In what way does withholding his health condition benefit them at all? Seeing him so well, so alive, so confident......and he had no idea that one day he would be alive, but then again, not really alive anymore. How ironic that he practiced and excelled at such a dangerous sport, which could have killed him every time he did it, only to end up being defeated by a rock on a ski slope. He loved racing/speed, and it was a race/speed that stopped him, but not the race he thought would stop him. It's like a sad bad joke. Bet he never even entertained a single thought that he might be put permanently out of action by a bit of fun, skiing. He has been bed-ridden and brain damaged for so long, I can't see him ever returning to any semblance of normality. I guess the next real update about him, will be that he's finally resting in eternal peace.

The first years the rumors were that they keeping it all a secret because he still has long term contracts with many companies, and so receiving huge amounts of money every year. If it was official that he is kept alive only by machines, the companies will try and probably manage to terminate that contracts. They can still do that now, but can you imagine the public downfall and PR disaster for any company that dares to do that now? "monster, cruel, greedy company hurts more the injured legend" this will be the front page everywhere. I tend to believe that rumors, it's Schumie, he's a legend, so we are talking about real real real money...

No mention of Ralph? Also I think the description of Schumi's personality is dead wrong. As a racer he was an ice cold professional not sentimental, not compassionate. He cared only about winning and if he never dreamt of cheating or resorting to dirty tricks to win it was because he thought it was beneath him. Two incidents I recall. One was, in a post race recap on ITV in England, they put a graphic on screen showing the racing line of each car along the track. Every other driver's trace was a scribble of lines one over the other as the race progressed. Schumi had started the race from P1 and as he so often did, he ran in first all through the race. His trace showed that for 70 laps, his racing line never deviated by a centimetre. The screen just showed one line. That is how precise he was. The second incident I recall was where on the morning of race day Michael and Ralph received the devastating news that their mother was either severely ill or had passed away (I don't exactly recall). Ralph quit the race and went home. Michael did not leave. He won the race and then went home without celebrating or doing post race interviews. When you know things like this about him you know there isn't a rock on the planet that would have the nerve to take him out. He's still fighting and I for one am sure he will win.

I don't really like people talking about him like you did at 15:28 because that's just licking the ass of someone because of how unwell they are physically and the tragedy that happened to them. What happened to him was truly tragic and nobody would ever want that for anyone, but it doesn't just magically change what kind of person he was. And he was not renown for his sportsmanship. At all. I for one will always remember him for being a prick in so many instances. Like colliding with Damon Hill in 1994 at the Australian GP. Or the time in 2004 at the San Marino GP, Mr. Schumacher didn't see Juan Pablo Montoya and pushed him wide and had the balls to come out and say he was in the right after seeing the replays. That time, Juan created a famous sentence people used to quote about Schumacher "you gotta be either blind or stupid to not see me". I honestly think he's both. Cause basically he proved being blind and stupid even before this when he turned into Jacques Villeneuve 7 years prior in 1997 at the Spain GP. Or him squeezing Barrichello in 2010 in Hungary TOTALLY off the track and almost causing a severe and potentially life threatening accident given the speeds. Also talking of Barrichello we have to remember that Schumacher is the reason why FIA banned team orders as when Barrichello was winning at the Austrian GP in 2002, Schumacher was gifted another win which he did not deserve. And so many other instances where he proved the world what an absolute piece of shit he truly is. I'm sure you can easily get a list of all the other times it occurred by just googling around. Don't get me wrong, he was objectively a very good driver. I will not deny the obvious. But as a person and mentality, absolute garbage. He's like a kamikaze of motorsport, if he couldn't win because he just wasn't the fastest or for any other reason, he'll make sure to try and take out with him whoever he's competing against for the championship. He basically took the concept of "do everything for the win" to a completely different level.
