This is an extremely good pistol. 500 fps and very accurate for a bb gun. If any of you see one laying around at a flea market, etc. I would advise picking it up.

Thanks for the teardown It was a great guide. In my case, nothing was damaged or worn and I got lucky in my repair. All I had to do was tighten the back of the primary chamber and make sure the gasket was seated properly. I also tightened the porting that the CO2 cartridge seats into.

In the past, I have seen comments suggesting that WD40 be avoided in situations like this. When I do something like this, I use 5-30 Synthetic Motor Oil to lubricate the gun. I've been doing this for years, and never had a problem. I prefer synthetic oil over petroleum because synthetics don't dry out or turn gummy over time. In a typical auto, there are lots of rubber or rubber-like components, so all auto lubricants have got to be compatible with many types of synthetic compounds.

Nice video young man. I have one of these myself I am 50 now and I got this when I was about 10 years old mine still works but the seal for the CO2 is completely gone I've tried everything to make it work but the CO2 still leaks. When I was a young lad I put many a pump BB guns to shame with this pistol it was very accurate and very powerful

Hello there and thank you for watching and the kind comments. This was a really cool side project for me to do and I certainly learned a great deal about classic BB-guns. I hope you can discover something that will work for you to keep the CO2 sealing. I tried a bit of thick grease/ lube to seal it tight and it seemed to work. Have a good day!

This is 2 years old I see, but I have been able to find seal kits online for this gun fairly easy. Check out JG Airguns, if you still have it and are still wanting to fix it. If you have it and don't want it, reply to me at this thread with a comment on what you might take for it. I'd like to have a spare.

Great video. Do you happen to know how many seals are actually involved in a rebuild? Can the Co2 seal be replaced? Thank you

Hey Nice Video. I just got one delivered the other day and the cocking lever action under the barrel won't move. It's stiff as it can be. It won't slide forward. It doesn't look rushed up too bad or none at all from what I can see or the spring. The barrel at the end gun seems to be unobstructed from the part you talk about that goes in the end of the barrel. The lever appears to be locked in the back towards the trigger position. Without taking the gun apart I don't know what the F is causing this. I put some Lucas Gun Oil on the barrel, spring, cocking lever action and let it get down in there really good and it still won't budge. I got my first 1200 back in the late'70's when I was a kid and they first came out and I bought 2 more last year, a 1200 and a Silver 1270. Both of those work great and are very accurate and hit hard. Seals are good and no leaks or anything and very good condition. This one is in Really Good Condition looking at it otherwise just the cocking, or loading lever action is stuck. Any ideas as to what it might be without tearing it down. What do you think!? Thank You 2/15/2024 @ 9:58 p.m.

What is the procedure to load the pistol and shoot it
@adamdunn20782 жыл бұрын
These pistols are top load and require a CO2 cartridge installed correctly to be able to fire. Very similar action to a real firearm, you use the forward grip to "pump" the chamber and propel the BB''s through the barrel when the trigger is pulled.

My 1200 vintage daisy is leaking at the CO2 what can I do

Sorry to bother you but I just bought one of these should I be putting a drop of pell gun oil on the co2 like I do with my newer pistols?
@adamdunn20782 жыл бұрын
Hello and thanks for watching! I appreciate your time reaching out in response to the video. In my experience, I went through a few Co2 cartridges before I tried using a lubricant or light grease can be better to “seal” the Co2 cartridge to the gun when screwing the Co2 on. Please let me know if that works for you. I sure hope so!

You said that parts are hard to come by. I found a Daisy Power Line 1200 in a garbage can at a foreclosed house in 2009, but never did anything with it til now. Thanks for the vid. The CO2 cup has been ruptured & blown out. Can I find a replacement, or is this BB gun DOA? Also, the rear aiming mechanism is completely missing. Again, probably no part replacement? This model of 1200 must be older, bc it has no “window” to view the BBs on top. Thanks.
