Same here. I grew up in Ontario and every Friday night we rushed off food shopping. Dinner was ready when my sister and I got home from school we threw it down us and rushed off food shopping with our parents. "Hurry!" they said. "We need to get back for Dallas!" lol The memories!

"I dream of Jeannie," "The Man from Atlantis," and "Rescue 8" will not be presented this evening. GIVE ME A BREAK! "I dream of Jeannie" ran from 1965-70, starred Larry Hagman, and was cancelled. "The Man from Atlantis" starred Patrick Duffy and was cancelled after only one season. Neither of those shows ever aired on CBS; they aired on NBC. I don't know if CBS even used that pre-emption bumper at that time. GREAT VIDEO!

I think that was part of the joke. Each of those shows starred a future Dallas cast member. I Dream of Jeannie (Larry Hagman) Man from Atlantis (Patrick Duffy) and Rescue 8 (I don't know who starred on that one)
