Howard Keel had a glorious head of hair, just as Jim Davis had. Both men were splendid in their respective roles, and I suspect the talent of Miss Barbara Bel Geddes had a lot to do with that.

a little fun fact for you lorimar who made dallas originally wanted john wayne to play jock but he was battling cancer at the time and recommended he good friend jim davis who was living in his car at the time the same car jock drove on dallas. if you go to south fork you'll see the car it's right there.

It's amazing how these clips from season 12 looks great on here than the season 12 dvds. I have all 14 seasons on dvd but I barely watch any episodes from 12-14...when I do find a scene like this I go back to find it on dvd and wonder why the remastering isn't the same.

I loved Jock and Miss Ellie. When Jim Davis passed away the writers seemed to lose focus on what to do with the other characters. I think Miss Ellie should've remained a widow. Clayton acted like a big bull- boisterous and obnoxious for no reason.

He had a riding accident and fell. He did regain his memory when Ellie was scalded while the boys were running in the kitchen.

I couldn't stand Clayton! He had a temper and would snap at Miss Ellie often, memory loss or not. Miss Ellie should've remained a widow, or keep her single until the Parmalee is Jock storyline, then have Miss Ellie and Jock get back together.
