very sad for population of the world for not giving this man and his music the attention they deserve

Kurt S i think he does have the appreciation in a more respectable manner than any other artist. he is a lot like his songs....and if he had the attention the superficial way that other artist do .... I truly believe that his music would change. he speaks to the heart, and the only way to do that is to be like "us". But, I totally respect your comment because it was a nice compliment. bless you, my friend

Why doesn't this have a million hits? I've listened to it a hundred times.

Probably because while it's an amazing, transformative song, this rendition wasn't one of his greatest performances. It's good, the song is great, it just didn't get a lot of organic shares I would imagine.

sitting here crying. my heart feels so much pain and knowing every word of this song is so powerful. love hurts so bad. all I ever wanted was to be loved like this, and pray someday I will.

I remember listening to this live in my car, driving to class at UCSB. This is my favorite version of this song. On nights like this, it touches me almost in the same way in did back then, only without the pain and without the want I had back then. But when I listen to it now, it's like I'm back there, 4 years ago, trying to avoid my sad feelings, but feeling every inch of them. Beautiful song

It's 2018 and I still can't get over this song and his voice. It's just so pure and this texture in his voice that brings me here every single time.

I still love this song! Then he had Accidental Babies and 9 crimes that are favorites ever! He has the best voice and his lyrics are so close to home for me.

When I listen to this I remember the first time I saw my boyfriend sleeping next to me. I felt so happy and amazed by this man, and I thought "I can't take my eyes off you"... I haven't seen him in three months now, and I just come to hear this song to remind that moment♥️ :'(

For song that's so repetitive it packs one hell of a punch. The vocals on this song are incredible. It helps that I've seen the film this song is featured in. Also incredible and also packs a punch right to the old heart strings. It's such a powerful song considering it's got so few lyrics :(
