I don’t know how people could say that Stefan and Elena should have been end game. That’s absolute bullshit. The energy we felt between Damon and Elena, the way damon was crazy for her. It was always seen through him. Paul and Nina scenes were so dull. There was no energy at all. They were just a normal couple like other ordinary high school couples. I hated them together. The only reason i actually continued to watch the show despite hating them so much, was that Damon was fighting for elena, and that made me stay and believe that they would be endgame. And yes!! They were!! They’re beautiful together. You feel something different with them. Stefan made Elena choose her own decisions, but Damon put her into place. And always protected her. You could see how jealous, and hurt he was when she was with Stefan. You could see how hurt he was when she lost their memories. And how he never played her or gave up on her. Elena belonged to him the moment they met. You could see how exciting and different the atmosphere was from when Elena met Stefan. Damon and Elena smiled so quickly at each other, and flirted so quickly, stelena was so slow and dull. Elena always found her way back to damon, everything about him attracted her. The danger, the mysterious ness, the selfishness, his smile, his humour, everything. And Damon, he loved every single thing about her. He questioned her, and challenged her, and flirted with her and protected her to prove his never ending love. He loved her compassion, her smile, everything of how different she was from Katherine. They always gave us this sexy tension that they resisted to tear each other’s clothes off even when Elena was with Stefan. Even in non romance scenes, there was always that tension of pure love. Its incredible how people think that Elena was better with Stefan. He may have loved her with all his heart, but Damon loved her with everything he ever had. Because, she was the only good thing in his life, and he treasured her more than anything. Those who wanna attack me, attack me bitches. But whether you like it or not, since episode 1, elena and Damon has already been decided, as endgame. ----------------- Edit: 1K likes?
