Continuing on: Salah has crowd control down to a science. He uses entertainment factors as well as dance factors. Think about it. Commonly, he has one prop with him. I've seen various ones, such as: baton, glasses, tissue. He seems to always pull one of these out during a battle. sticking to the definition i gave above, another one of his tricks would be his hyper-ext. shoulders and elbows. What these all have in common are that they are not DANCE moves. This will help you understand why

@brentonio It' stupid to debate this because you just have a different definition of tricks than i do. Its definition is in a grey area with a lot of dancers, and depending on who you talk to, they will say something different. I would define a trick as something that can accentuate a dance but is also unaccessible to most other dancers for a variety of reasons. The two most common are hyper-extension of joints and/or prop use. Examples of those would be a regular Salah set.

something that seems as unaccessible as Salah or Flat-top's strobing and Damon or Chbeeb's waving as tricks, but they are not. They are highly trained techniques. They have taken the waving technique and transplanted it to the whole body. What they do takes time to learn. The isolation factor alone is already jaw dropping, but the creative movements they come up with are incredible as well. Your posts make me think you, yourself, don't take dancing seriously. As you progress you'll learn this.

Yup his partner was Salah. They kicked major ass in that tournment

@brentonio hahaha. these aren't tricks. what he is doing is a combination of boogaloo and waving, with some other stuff thrown in. both of these fall under the umbrella term "popping," which refers to many sub-styles
