No car, money, job, or school. Before I started watching your channel I thought I'd just be miserable, but now, I'm expanding my hobbies, hoping to meet new people, and writing and drawing a visual narrative to upload to KZbin in hopes to inspire at least one person. Meaning - work to become something that is relevant to my life and practice and can help me grow in ways that directly relate to what I am doing in the world.. This makes me actually care about what I am doing! Ps. I hope one day I get to have my moment of running into you in life. With Warmth, Emily/Amalia

Sounds great in theory, but how do you do it in practice? For instance, if you have an assignment on an obscure topic you couldn’t care less about?
@elbellexx6 ай бұрын
@@reallifefairy I had a design professor who told us that as we research a topic we really don't care about, we have to find something that connects with us, which then helps us find a way to add in our interests/personalities. About the pants-tube-bed-szenario: which version is the city and suburb style? and about your ambition to learn the technical side of graphic design as a ux designer myself who is dabbling in and out of UI/ graphic design: maybe its a idea for you to follow/ work along a few fellow graphic designers for a day who you admire/ work with. therefore you get to know their workflow. Otherwise as somebody mentioned below I think the internet is your best friend. In my studies nobody showed us how to do some pieces technique wise. Its always your idea first and then you could ask if you had a specific question. What I also love is some kind of community of like minded people where we share our learning once a month/ every 2 month (on or offline) in this field.
